Cranberry Sauce Extraordinaire

This was far too tart for my sweet tooth. I added another 1/2c. of sugar, a 1/4c. of orange juice and a 1/4 c. of sherry. I didn't put in the dried fruit, either because I'm not a fan. I let it simmer for about 15 minutes more uncovered to reduce the sauce down because my additions made it soupy. I customized it to fit my sweet needs and it was fabulous.

Amish Bread

Ok, I made some PHENOMENAL changes to this without ever making it as the recipe says to, but holy bread... it was good. I put 1/8 cup maple syrup and 1/4 cup brown sugar in stead of the white sugar and whole milk instead of water. The dough was pretty sticky in the bread machine but I added bread flour a table spoon at a time until it was the right consistency. I'm telling you, this bread was good. Sweet, but very very good.

Cheesecake Supreme

Amazing is the only word to describe this cake. I used other's suggestions to put the cake in the oven at 200 degrees for 3 hours and left it in the oven for an hour with the oven off. I put it in the fridge but still got a crack in the middle, but I'm not any kind of cheesecake chef so I could have done anything wrong. I put 2 tbsp of vanilla in it, too. This cake was sweet and very rich... so of course I loved it. I used the supreme strawberry topping from the site... yummmm. I will definitely make this cake again.

Raw Veggie Picnic Salad

I have tried a few other broccoli-like salads here and this is the best one by far! I didn't use the grated onion in the dressing and I also didn't use all of the dressing on the veggies. It was way rich and about half of the dressing was quite enough. I used 2 cups of red grapes instead of red and green and I ran out of sugar so I used splenda instead and I couldn't even tell the difference. Make this recipe and everyone will be sure to love it! YUM!
