Delicious Ham and Potato Soup
Delicious and my family LOVES it! I do use a leftover Ham Bone to make homemade stock to use in place of the water. The only other change I make is that I add some some shredded cheddar cheese at the end. I would say about a 1/2 cup or to taste. Some times I add a few carrots along with the celery and onion just for a splash of color but really you can't go wrong with this recipe! Its going to be one I make forever!

Apple Crisp II
Definitely double the crumb topping and I did add a dash of nutmeg to the apple coating. I halved the water suggested and it came out too watery for my liking. I think next time I may leave out the extra water completely. All in all a GREAT recipe!! This is going to be one I make over and over again!!

This dish was a HUGE HIT at my Christmas Feast for 18! I calculated the recipe using 25 servings and then added calamari and Lobster tails (about 3.5 lbs. for my recipe cut up into bite sized pieces.). I did let the broth simmer for a little longer then stated....probably about 90 min. Seafood added in this order: clams, mussels, lobster, shrimp, calamari, then scallops. Once the scallops were done I removed from the heat. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL and this will be a yearly tradition in our family. Thanks for such a wonderful recipe!
