Chicken Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2014
So good! I used 3 chicken breasts, added some garlic, onion and chicken seasoning. Next time I will use a little less sour cream and butter and more crackers! We all loved it.

King Crab Appetizers

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2013
Very good. I baked in a pie plate because I wanted a dip with crackers. I also used Vidalia onion because that's what I had. Next time, I'll double it; gone fast!

Chicken Marsala

I tripled this for Christmas Eve and was wonderful. You can definitely use less oil and butter. I also used the cooking sherry and Marsala and came out perfect!

Pork Chops with Garden Rice

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2012
Good recipe but the problem is the rice only takes 30 minutes and the pork takes at least 45. NExt time I will cook the chops on the stove with the juice from the tomatoes, garlic and oil for at least 15 minutes. Then I will put in the oven with the rice for 30 minutes. When I made, I omitted the peppers and used carrots and the rice was really good plus I used fresh parsley.

Shrimp Verde

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2012
Oh wow was this awesome! I only used a few sprinkles of parmesan because I didn't want a big cheese taste. I also added a few splashes of white wine at the end. Tasted like a dish I'd pay a lot of $$ for at a restaurant.

This is so good. I couldn't stop eating it! Mine took a little less time to cook. I also added 1/4 cup slivered almonds. Great side to any meal!

Oven Brown Rice

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
This was so yummy. I used 1 can chicken broth, 1 chicken bouillon and 1 cup water (that's all I had). I also used olive oil instead of butter, and used both garlic powder and 1 clove garlic, and pepper. I put in the microwave for 10 minutes, then baked at 375 for 30 minutes, then had to nuke for another 5-10 mins to get rice less hard. This was very tasty, hardy and healthy!

Round Steak and Gravy II

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
I used the flip steaks and the soups and 1 cup water. I also dredged the steaks in flour before I browned them. It came out perfectly. I cooked for an hour and had to add a little water towards the last 15 minutes. The gravy was thick and tasty.

Hash Brown Casserole II

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2011
First of all, you need to spray your pan! I halfed this and it was just o.k. It was pretty dry. If you follow the recipe on the back of the Ore-Ida hash browns, I think that would be better than this one.

Double Chocolate Mocha Trifle

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2011
This is sinfully delicious! If you double the milk, the recipe is perfect. I also doubled the coffee because we love mocha flavor. I found the white chocolate pudding mix at Wal-Mart. Instead of using candy bars, I bought a bag of Heath bits, which is cheaper. You can definitely add lots of the candy bits. I used lite whipped topping and the whole thing was awesome.

Bacon 'n' Egg Bundles

Reviewed: May 5, 2011
So easy and so good. I only put bacon on the bottom. I scrambled some of the eggs and adding fun toppings. I cooked for 15 minutes and the eggs were perfect. One word of caution; don't leave the the eggs in the muffin tins when they come out of the overn. They end up cooking more and some of our eggs were over cooked.

Almond-Topped Fish

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
I just made this and it was awesome! The only thing I did differently was I added the almonds to the last 5 minutes of cooking time. This tasted like fish you'd get at a restaurant. So easy and so rich tasting. This is the best fish I've ever made!

Frozen Chocolate Mousse Squares

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2011
This was easy and great. I used fat free sweetened condensed milk, low fat creat cheese and lite cool whip. I also made in a 9x11 pan which I did not line with tinfoil. If you spray the pan with Pam, it comes out great. I used 16 OREO's and could've used more. I froze then took out 30 minutes before I cut. I stored in fridge after I served and I like it better not frozen.

Grilled Onion Potatoes

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
Used this today for our Mother's Day BBQ and they were a hit. We also sprinkled parsley and Lowery's on potatoes. You can't go wrong with this recipe and just about any spices your family likes will do well. We used a fat free Italian dressing to cut back on calories.

Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
This was very good but next time I'll omit cinnamon. From suggestions of others I marinated overnight and used 1 fresh garlic clove. Instead of grilling, I boiled the marinade them poured over pork and baked at 375 for 1 hr 15 mins. We had o roo on our grill or I would have grilled it. It was very tasty. The cinnamon was a little too powerful.

Easiest Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
Just made this tonight and it was very good. I used a rump roast and changed a few other items. I used 1 can of low-sodium beef broth and 1 can french onion soup. I sliced two onions and put underneath roast. Sprinkled roast with crushed garlic and black pepper. I cooked on high first hour then turned down that last 5.5 hours. Put 2 peices of lettuce in top of crock pot the last 15 mins to soak up any grease. Sliced very easily without falling apart.
