I like the outdoors, and a mother of three I like getting them out into the wilderness and explore what the beautiful state of Washington has! Any kind of anything I throw a party with friends and I get to cook, which I enjoy! Also Im an food experimenter something will pop in my head and off I go to the kitchen!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking asian foods just for all the variety of vegetables and spice! I really think they know what their doing! And of cours I love cooking creams and everybody think I have a talent for soups! I made my own version of minestroni soup but didnt write it down so its lost forever!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Having a good time, and trust your instinct to go "outside the lines" with recipes!
My cooking triumphs
Anything I think up and the kids and friends like it!
My cooking tragedies
GRAVY! It hasnt happen again I make a rou (sp) now! My tragedy is I added blended flour and water and it turned out to a lumpy mess! It tasted good just flour lumps all through it and it was smooth in the bowl i was mixing it in!

Soft Sugar Cookies IV
Even the raw dough was excellent my daughter couldnt get her hands out of it:) The finish product was even better yet! I took them out before the browned and like a reviewer wrote dusting the baking sheet with sugar and cinnamon...!

Easy Pork Roast
This recipe was GREAT, I don't eat pork but my family loved it. I cooked for 2 1/2 hours and uncovered for 50 minutes, I took the roast out and let most of liquid evaporate, I then made angel hair pasta and mixed the stuff from the roast and the family loved it.... It was weird with the beans and pasta but it worked!!! Great reacipe and thanks for sharing!!! Oh and I used "Stella" beer ....soooo good!

This was great... like someone else said it was a bit salty! I added fresh mangos just for something different, the flavors blended well with eachother, I got a lot of compliments!
