Yummy!! Made way to much for two even after reducing the servings but it kept nice in the freezer. Will make again - Thanks for a great soup!

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
Great dish! The only substitute for me was using my own canned crushed tomatoes which were pre-seasoned with garlic, basil and pesto.

Spicy Kielbasa Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
The flavor was good - I wound up adding diced potatoes, green beans (don't care for zucchini or carrots) and extra celery because I had to use it. I used my own crushed tomatoes I had canned which were pre-seasoned so I probably had a little more seasonings than what the recipe calls for. Next time I will use beef kielbasa or ground beef and add more than what the recipe calls for. I served it with Hawaiian rolls (the sweet offset the hot) and overall we did enjoy it and I will make it again.

This was quick and easy! I didn't have Picante on hand so I used a can of diced tomatoes and added hot sauce. We loved it!

Pasta Lasagna

We loved this!! Much easier than lasagna, but it tasted just as good. Spiced it up for our taste and added a few extras and it was perfect!

Best Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
This is the best recipe I have found for Stroganoff. I used a little more than 14 oz of the consomme and it just required a little more thickening. Other than that, no changes - It was perfect!

Rotini Chicken Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2007
This was ok - we didn't really care for the flavor of it. You have to love Thyme to enjoy this recipe. I think it really overpowers the dish.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2007
The only thing different I did was cooked it on about 375 and I didn’t brush it every 10 min. I put the entire sauce in the dish, let it marinade for a few hours then just turned and brushed the chicken 3 times in an hour. The last few minuets of cooking time, I put it on broil to get the glazed effect on the chicken ~Turned out perfect!! I made an extra batch of just the sauce then sautéed and stirred in an onion, green, red and yellow peppers and served it over rice. Perfect meal as is, no side dish needed. Will make again.

Tater Tot Casserole III

Yummy! I doubled the recipe and added mushrooms, onion & shredded cheese in the mixture and the also sprinkled some on top. Use half the amount of milk as others suggest. This is a new favorite for us!

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
This is overall a good recipe. I added additional seasonings after mixing the tuna with the soup to meet our taste as it seemed a little bland. I mixed about 1 cup of shredded cheese to the mixture instead of layering as called for in the recipe as others mention. I also added peas and onion, but the crushed potato chips on top made the casserole!!! I will be keeping this one for a quick weekday dinner.

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I used my own recipe for the meatloaf, but used the glaze for the top. I used about half to cover the top and allowed it to bake for the entire time. I then used the additional amount right at the end and broiled it on low for a few minuets to get a good gooey glaze on the top. VERY YUMMY!!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
Great recipe! I added additional seasonings to meet our taste and it turned out wonderful! Like other reviews indicate, I browned the bottom shell for 7 min, prior to baking and the bottom crust was perfect. I also brushed both the bottom and top crust with egg white to get a nice golden brown and covered the edges prior to cooking. Boiling the chicken & Veggies in 50/50 chicken broth & water and using the excess in place of the broth called for in the recipe gave it the perfect flavor. This one is a keeper!!
