This was my first time to make and fondant and all in all I felt it wasn't nearly as scary sticky as some reviewers said. However, it is sweet! Next time I will make cut outs instead of covering all the cake. I also felt it was still sticky even after getting the dough consistancy, maybe needed more sugar? So I say 4 stars, although I recognize some may be due to my own failure. Will try it again!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

great! fantastic! sauteed bell pepper and onions, put over toasted sourdough roll and put cheese on top, broiled 'til melted. My family was impressed!

Blackberry Peach Pie

This was amazing. I used a little less sugar (about a quarter of called for) because I don't like over sweet pies, and although I LOVED it and was true fruit flavored, the recipes amount probably would have been just fine, thus 5 stars. Wonderful! Love the "glaze" over the top crust, made it special.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

2nd time to make it, hubby loves it! The first time my son said that everyone at the party was raving about it. Served with a blueberry sauce and also strawberry supreme sauce from this site. Water in a shallow pan, buttered the sides and left in the oven, no cracking and comes off clean.

Bill Clinton's Lemon Chess Pie

I love this pie, made a few times. I would describe it as lemon curd pie, those scone lovers out there...you know what that means! Taste better the second day. If you want a real lemony flavor, less sugar, by about half and meyer lemons. Wow! Great!

This was truly delicious. Hubby doesn't like soup for dinner but went back for seconds so he could dip more bread in it! Had it with fresh Sourdough round and roasted garlic cloves to spread on it. Yumm! Best minestrone I've made!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

These were really good, took me between 90 and 120 min. and rose beautifully. The reason I gave it 4 stars is I thought there was a little too much butter in the cinnamon sugar center. However, it maybe that it was because I did use butter, not margarine as called for. Other than that followed the recipe. Bread part of it was GREAT!

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

This is awesome! I used it without the chocolate for a vanilla frosting on my 90 min. cinnamon buns (son doesn't like cream cheese frosting). Tasted great!

Sugar Cookie Icing

This was pretty good, but my husband (who loves sugar frosted cookies) thought they were too sweet. I think maybe the almond extract was a bit too much if you don't want that super sweet flavor. Other wise the consistancy was great! (had to add 1 tsp more milk, was too think at first)
