Bisquick® Pancakes

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
I used the lowfat baking mix and it turned out just fine. I did add a little more milk to thin the pancakes out, but that's probably just a personal preference.

Yum! I used all butter, 1 1/2 cups flour and added 1 tsp. of vanilla. This was delicious!

Peach Berry Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
OK-not the best I've ever made. Definitely edible, but the topping seemed a bit bland and the filling didn't set up as well as I would have liked. My peaches were very ripe and juicy, so maybe they made the filling too soggy.

Quiche

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
Easy and yummy! I changed the recipe a bit according to what I had on hand. I used a variety of different cheeses, sausage instead of ham, added onions and potatoes and topped it with green onions. I also used 5 eggs and about 1 1/3 cups milk to fill out the pie a bit more. I loved that I could make this the night before!

Buttermilk Pie III

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2008
Delicious! For some reason, the crust stuck to the pan, I don't usually grease the pan for pies, but maybe this one needs it?

Mustard Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
Good! I used part Extra Virgin Olive Oil, could maybe use a little less oil. Also, it seemed kind of bland, so I added a little more mustard and honey. I took it to a friends house with a salad and everyone loved it and put it on their chicken as well as their salad.

This was really good. I used fresh tomatoes, and added some green bell pepper. I also added some chili powder, about 1/2 tsp.

Cherry Bars

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2008
Yummy and easy! I cut the recipe in half because I only had one can of cherries. Then I baked it in an 8 x 8 pan and it took more like 45 minutes or so. When putting the batter in the bottom of the pan, it helped to wet my fingers and then press it into the pan.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2008
These are great! I've made them twice now. The first time, I accidently omitted the milk and they still turned out fantastic! Nice and chewy. I also put other candies in the middle, but I still think the best is with the peanut butter cups though. I must have made mine a little big because I only got about 28-30 out of this recipe.

Chicken Pot Pie II

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2008
Mmmmm! So good! I needed a dairy-free version of Chicken Pot Pie and this was perfect! I added some more veggies and baked it in a deep pie dish. I also used 2 crusts, instead of just the one on top. S

Milk Chocolate Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2007
SO yummy and EASY! I've made this twice, the second time using 3/4 c corn syrup and 1/4 cup maple syrup along with semi-sweet instead of milk chocolate chips, just because that's what I had on hand. VERY good both times!!

Sausage Balls

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2007
I've made sausage balls for years just like this, but I"ve never used eggs. They made the mixture so much easier to work with! Next time, I may only use 1 egg and see how it works. 12/18/08 Update: This year, I threw all the ingredients into my KitchenAid and used the dough hook. After a few minutes, everything was perfectly combined! So fast and easy!! Plus, I didn't have to knead it all together with my hands, which is always my least favorite part about making these.

Quick Creamy Spinach and Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2007
My husband says this is a five star recipe, I would maybe only give it 4, but it was still yummy, and super easy! I had everything I needed on hand! I used italian seasoned tomatoes, but I think next time, I'll use plain and add the seasonings myself.

Maple Caramel Bread Pudding

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2007
I give this recipe 5 stars because it was super easy and delicious. I used sugar free syrup, but added 2 T. of butter and about 2 T of brown sugar and only used 1/4 c of syrup. Still yummy! Next time, I think I"ll add some kind of crunchy topping.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

YUMMY! I love tiramisu and this cake had just the right flavor. I took it to a dinner party and everyone loved it! I did skip on the coffee liquer b/c I'm pregnant, and doubled or tripled the amount of other coffee ingrediants in its place. Still great!

Beef Stew II

Very good! I added a bunch of stuff to it like potatoes, barley, soy sauce, and more pepper. I also just used leftover beef that I had, so I skipped the first step. Still delish!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2007
Delicious! Couldn't be any easier! It has that sweet, cornbread taste I was craving! 3/3/08-made again, this time used a cast-iron skillet. It gave it a delicious crust! Yum! Only needed to be baked for 30 minutes.
