Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2008
This was the best chicken salad I have ever had!! I made a few adjustments... instead of bell peppers, I used white onion and I also added half of a peeled carrot. It turned out to have the best flavors!

Tartar Sauce I

This tartar sauce was amazing! Instead of dill, I used Cantina dressing instead. I also added a little bit of garlic powder to taste. Thanks!

Lamingtons

The Lamington itself is sort of bland, but the icing for it makes a perfect match!! It was a hit at our dinner!

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
It came out a little dry for me, next time I will probably add applesauce to the mix to keep some of the moisture, but everything else about this recipe was perfect!! Thanks!

Broccoli Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
This was a really great casserole! It was light and healthy, much better way to eat broccoli than just plain 'ol broccoli and cheese!

Raspberry Lemonade Pie

Reviewed: May 23, 2009
Absolutely amazing! A great light desert for the summer! I changed the recipe slightly by using home made lemonade instead of the frozen concentrate, and I used low fat cream cheese and cool whip light. I also added blueberries into the mix for Memorial Day weekend and it turned out fantastic! :)

I followed this recipe to the T, except I followed the suggestion of all the other people who tried it and substituted the white sugar for brown sugar, and they turned out absolutely amazing!! I will definitely be making these again!

Apple Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2008
This recipe worked out perfect except that the batter came out a little dry. Next time I will add a little bit of apple sauce to add some moisture back to the mix. I highly recommend this recipe though!!!

Chapaleles

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
I tried this last week but made a few changes. I used 1 tablespoon of low-salt butter instead of the lard and I used canola oil in lieu of vegetable oil. I added chopped onion, scallions and a bit of fresh garlic as well. They come out pretty greasy, so pat them between layers of paper towels when removing them from the frying pan and voila!
