i made some modifications to this. First, I always use ground turkey instead of ground beef. I also used 1 cup of instant rice to 1 cup of water, and I cooked it separately. I added chopped onion when I browned the turkey. I also used 4 large peppers, but I should've only used three because they weren't completely stuffed. Also, when I mixed the turkey with the rice, and other stuff I added a lot of other seasonings, like italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion salt, crushed red pepper, and more ground black pepper. I also added parmesan cheese in with that mix. I boiled the peppers for about 8 minutes. This was too long, maybe only 5. O ran cold water over them afterwards. I topped them with the tomato sauce and italian seasoning (didn't seem like enough sauce), and also more parmesan cheese. I covered the pan with aluminum foil and I baked for 20 minutes. They turned out really well. I really think I could've baked for 15 minutes. I was pleased, and my husband loved them. :) a 5 with my modifications.
