Cuban Smoked Sausage with Chickpeas

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2008
This was great! I love chic peas and always try to fine a dish to cook them with. The only thing I did was add more garlic powder and half the red pepper called for, I am not to big on spicy hot food and it was just perfect. Husband and kids loved it, made over white rice. This will def. be made again, I might add some other veggies in it next time. Thanks!

Oven Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
Wow! This was great it just melted in your mouth. The only thing I did was in the beginning I used only a table spoon of butter with crushed garlic, this way it gave it a nice brown color. First time I made this there was a bit to much butter making the flour a bit soggy. Also I cooked it at 300 for three hours and it was wonderful. Sauce makes a great tasting gravy great over mashed potatoes or even baked. Will make this a regular!

Easy Lasagna I

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2008
This was very easy to make a and tasted great! I will be making this on the regular. The only thing is that I had to add about half a lb more of meat and half a jar more of sauce. Also, I just boiled my lasagna noodles for five mins while the meat was cooking. Other then that it was wonderful!

Tex Mex Shark and Shrimp

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2008
This was wonderful! I had a bunch of friends come over for dinner and they all ate it up wanting more. The only thing I added was some cheddar cheese with the mozzarella and put some garlic powder and seasoning salt in it. I will be making this again. Thanks!

Fra Diavolo Sauce With Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2008
This was wonderful and easy to make! My sauce was a bit watery probably my fault, so I just add a bit of baking powder to it at the end. Just wonderful wanted to lick my plate afterwards. LOL Thanks!

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2008
This tasted so so good! I didn't use red and yellow peppers, just green and added an onion to it. I didn't use the oil because the kielbasa makes enough juices. I cooked my peppers and onions with half a teaspoon of butter with minced garlic for like two minutes then I added the meat and potatoes and cooked till potatoes where soft. It came out great, nice and easy way to make kielbasa. Thanks!

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
These were so good! They are so easy to make. The only thing I did was use regular peanut butter instead of chunky and added a tad more. The Chocolate chips, I put a little less then what was called for so it would not over power the peanut butter. I used instant oats and kept the amount the same. I cooked them just at ten minutes, just as the side where turning brown I took them out because I love soft cookies and they always wind up hardening a bit once cooled off. They were perfect just as I like them. Thanks for this great recipe!

Pork Tenderloin in Bourbon

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
This is the first time I have ever made pork tenderloin and it was wonderful. I didn't have any bourbon so I did as another reviewer did and replaced it with 1/4 cup of apple juice and tsp of vanilla. I had put slits in the meat and rubbed it with the garlic, salt, and pepper. I then marinated it with the sauce for about an hour. Cooked it for the time and the rest of the sauce I added a little more brown sugar cooked it on top of the stove and in the last 10 mins of cooking the meat I poured it on the meat to get a nice glaze. Great recipe!

Sweet and Sour Kielbasa

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2008
Wow! This is so sweet and yummy! Not so much sour. Next time maybe I will add a little more lemon juice. I would have given it five stars but the hubby didn't care to much for it but the rest of the family did, my sister even wanted to take the left overs home for lunch. This is definitely a keeper! Thanks!
