Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2007
Awesome recipe. I doubled it and had great results. I, like others, used freshly steamed beans, less cheese and sour cream than the recipe calls for, and grated the onions. Tasted a lot like traditional green bean casserole but was even better because it was less artificial.

Raspberry Sour Cream Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2007
Incredible recipe! I used the entire filling for just one pie (used the Pastry and Pie Bible cream cheese pie crust recipe--yum!). The tart raspberries definitely keep the pie from being too sweet. The pie looked and tasted awesome!

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2005
This just didn't work for me. I dusted my filets with flour but the batter still slid off in the fryer. The flavor of the fried bits that fell off was good, therefore the 2 star rating as opposed to 1 star.

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2005
Awesome! Made two thin crusts out of this, with the amazing pizza sauce on top. Followed other cooks' suggestion of pre-baking crust at 500 for 10 min or so, then baked with toppings at 425 for about 7 min.

Exquisite Pizza Sauce

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2005
Really good! I didn't have paste so I used an 8 oz can of tomato sauce instead of paste and water, which was fine. I used a T of splenda instead of the honey. Used a spice mixture instead of all the individual ones plus a few healthy pinches of cayenne. Excellent on the whole wheat crust that many others used.

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2004
Great recipe, I doubled the topping as advised. I reduced the water by half, but will omit next time.

Blueberry Boy Bait

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2004
Awesome recipe! So buttery and delish, it was a perfect 4th of July dessert! Per other reviewers' posts, I used a whole pint of blueberries. I will make more crumble next time to sprinkle on top.

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2002
This was decent, but it really stuck to the pan and was so dense. I also had to put it int for 15-20 min longer.

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2001
I use only 1 C each of the sour cream and mayo, and it works wonderfully. Yum!

Mock Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2001
made this for my young cousins the other day, it was well received and eaten up quickly in sandwiches! i didn't mash the garbanzo beans; the filling ended up a little messy, but I like the texture of whole beans better.
