Sweet Hot Mustard Chicken Wings

I have made these many times since originally seeing the recipe on Chef John's Foodwishes blog. The sauce is sweet, tangy, spicy, perfect. The sauce is also great for grilled chicken legs

Very tasty, nice rounded top and tender crumb. A bit too sweet and too oily. Next time I will cut the sugar in half (only 1 cup) and cut the oil way down (maybe sub in some applesauce). I made cupcakes, 30 minutes was perfect.

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

very easy and tasty. I followed the recipe but divided into 4 instead of 3. It made a perfect size loaf or 4 hamburger size buns.

Coconut Curry Tofu

This is amazing! Very flavorful, a complex flavor. I did not add the last tbsp of soy sauce as I thought the flavor was already salty enough. The coconut milk is very rich and creamy but because the rest of the ingredients are so low fat its ends up being perfectly healthy AND delicious. Served over brown rice. Next time Ill add some eggplant, jalapeno and cilantro.

Easy OREO Truffles

I made these with tofutti "better than cream cheese" to make them dairy free. The consistency was easy to work with. I had no problem rolling the balls. I didnt want to bother with the chocolate coating so I just rolled them in the reserved cookie crumbs and that worked perfectly. These are quick and other people loved them but for me they taste like pre-chewed oreos. best served chilled.

German Red Cabbage

Molasses Spice Muffins

very good! An excellent whole wheat recipe. The strong flavors of molasses and spice really stand up to the whole wheat. I omitted dry buttermilk and raisins.

Simple White Cake

Nice basic white cake. I added 1.5 tablespoon sprinkles to get "confetti" cupcakes. Recipe make an even dozen cupcakes which is just enough for nearly any occasion without becoming a temptation. Make sure you really beat the butter and sugar fill fluffy to get a tender cake.

Raspberry Star Cookies

These turned out great. Don't worry about getting the jelly exactly even because it bubbles and melts into a nice even puddle. My only adjustment was the bake time. My broken oven only bakes at 350 degrees and it took over 20 minutes. I took them out when they started to brown.
