Absolutely delicious! I was looking for a new way to make cornbread so I was glad when I stumbled upon this one. Although I accidentally ommitted the vanilla, it still turned out fabulous. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Wonderful recipe; easy to prepare. I did't have the heavy cream sauce so I had to improvise. Regardless of that, it turned out great and husband was pleased!

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This is an excellent recipe. I think it's very forgiving; for example, I added a tbl of sour cream, 2 1/2 tbl applesause, and approx. 1/3c of canned pumpkin and a whopping 3 near-ripe bananas-- it was absolutely wonderful. I reduced the sugar to 1c and used 1c unbleached flr and 3/4c of wheat flour. I baked muffins instead (350 deg. for 40 min.). I'll be making these again- thanks for sharing and the reviewers by others was very helpful.

in my opinion, this recipe makes more than 4 servings; it tasted o.k.- I just wished I used my food processor to chop the cilantro very fine...

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2007
Wow! This recipe is the best ginger cookie recipe in the entire- and I mean the ENTIRE world!! I was pressed for time so I whipped up this batch of my hubby's favorite cookie while our baby napped. Not only was this recipe easy but tasty to boot! I took the suggestion of another reviewer and used 1 TBL of OJ and I didn't roll them in sugar (I already feel guilty about my daily sugar intake) and they turned out perfect. I forsee makies these again and again. Thanks for sharing it.

Apple Maple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
Very delicious! I had some extra apples to use up and this recipe fit the bill. I used a scant amount of brown sugar since the red apples I used were VERY sweet and the maple syrup is sweet enough. Pretty snack/breakfast any day of the week. This recipe is a keeper!

Strawberry Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
I like this recipe- it's a keeper. I had some yogurt that I needed to use pretty quickly and this recipe came in handily. I think the recipe calls for a bit too much sugar so next time I'll reduce it a bit and I also like the suggestion of other reviewers to use a combo of ginger/nutmeg to replace the caradom.
