Baked Zucchini Fries

These were great! The only thing I suggest is adding Lowrey's garlic salt to the mix. It takes it to the next level!

Pork Chops with Apples, Onions, and Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2014
I'm not sure why anybody wouldn't give this 5 stars. It is so simple and absolutely delicious! I have an apple slicer that slices the apples very thin so I added those the last half of the baking so they wouldn't turn to mush. I found that I got busy doing other things and it ended up cooking for probably an hour and a half. Everything was done perfectly!

Nichole's Chicken Cauliflower Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2013
My 7 year old son thought it was awesome. My husband thought it was good. I thought it was ok. I had to go in the middle and rate it 3 stars. I'm not a finicky eater by any means but it just wasn't a favorite of mine.

Banana Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
This is an awesome recipe! Being the chocolate lover and raisin despiser, I substituted chocolate chips for the raisins and loved that change! I also used brown sugar instead of white for no reason other than that's what I had in front of me. LOVED this. Oh, and I made muffins, not bread!

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2010
I've made this recipe or some version of it, as it is a very flexible and forgiving recipe, tons of times. And it's always a huge it! The only thing I have never done was add the sugar. If you use a splash of sprite or gingerale it has plenty of sweetness. This has been dubbed by friends as "the hold sangria." Enjoy!

THE Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2008
I love macaroni salad with ham, cheese and peas. It's one of my faves. When I found this recipe I thought I would give it a shot based on the reviews. Unfortunately, I didn't care much for this rendition. I like spicey and hot foot but the hot sauce in the dressing seemed misplaced. I used about 3/4 of the dressing and then added extra mayo, sour cream and ranch dressing to dilute the potency of the hot sauce. Too bad I had quadrupled this recipe for my daughter's baptism luncheon.

Tuna Patties with Dill Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
I've made this recipes tons of times. I love it. I found the parsnips to be too time consuming and didn't add much to the recipe so I began omitting them. Quick and easy!

Chicken Jambalaya I

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
I loved this recipes. I used left over spicey blackened chicken. I'm concerned if it wasn't for that spice it would have been spicey enough!

Chocolate Surprise Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
These cupcakes were awesome. I didn't think they needed anything to make them sweeter. The ONLY thing I would do different would be to fill the cupcakes only 1/3 of the way, then put the dollop of cream cheese mix and then top with the other 1/3 of the cupcake mix. Then it would truely be a "surprise."
