Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2012
It was just okay. Probably wont make it again, but I'm not a big pork fan so it's probably that and not the recipe.

Delilah's Frosted Cut-Out Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
Best icing I have ever worked with. It set up nicely so you could stack, but it was not too hard when you bit into it. Dough was easy to work with. I took another reviewer's advice and dipped my cookies in the frosting-they turned out beautiful. This is now my go to recipe for sugar cookies and frosting.

Easy Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
These were definetly easy, but mine were a little flat. Taste was good with gravy but my daughter didn't like them with butter and jelly.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Nut Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
These were great. I didn't have any nuts so I didn't do that part but followed the rest of the recipe to a T. So yummy!

Grilled Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
Very good marinade. I left out the water too. My daughter loved this chicken and kept asking for leftovers for 3 nights! Highly recommend.

Quick and Easy Brownies

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
These were really delicious. Of course, I didn't follow the recipe exactly...I was out of some of the ingredients. I only had a half cup of butter so I used shortening for the other half. I had self rising flour so I left out the salt and baking powder. Oh, and I only used a cup of flour as other reviewers suggested. I was worried, but I needed a chocolate fix. But they turned out great. They didn't look too great-a little crispy on the outside, but moist and chocolatey on the inside. I guess I really just created my own recipe-good start though.

Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
If you like chocolate then this is the cake for you. I love chocolate and this might just be a little too much for me. The icing is delicious but very rich. I baked the cake in a bundt pan like one of the reviewers did and it turned out great. It does require more backing time. I just poured the icing over it more like a glaze than frosting. Very good but very rich almost like a chocolate cake you would have at a nice restraurant.

Pizza Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
This is a really good recipe. I also cut up pepperoni slices some other reviewers did and I added extra cheese. Very delicious. My 5 year old daughter and 7 year old niece loved it. This will become a staple at my house. Could easily make ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to cook.

Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2009
I thought this cake was awful. I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if that's just the way "real" red velvet cake should taste. I had only made a mix and loved it. I will continue to use the mix when I crave red velvet whether it is the "real" red velvet or not. I had never heard of this icing recipe before and it was good but very rich. The icing is the only reason I gave this 2 stars.

Oven Fried Chicken II

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
This a really easy and delicious recipe. I had trouble with the breading falling off during cooking. Read a review that said to let it "rest" before baking. Will try that next time.

Roasted Red Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
Absolutely the best potato salad I have ever made. I was skeptical because of the mayo and we are a mustard family, but I cut the mayo half. It is delicious. My onions were a little bit to strong so I roasted them with potato. I also used real bacon bits and it tasted great. Will make again.
