I went to a school of home economics, specialiced in cooking..taught high school home economics in Cardiff Wales, then emigrated to B.C Canada taught high scool home economics there also..Now retired and love to cook for my family and friends

My mother is Belgian, so my comfort food is what my mother taught me... Sweet and sour red cabbage, belgian endive, lots of spinich recipies.

Teaching high school students the basics of cooking, which I am sure they use in their homes today

Making pastry in cooking school, always turned out tough..they thought that I would never make the grades to become a high school cookery teacher!
