well here goes my first blog ever lol !!! i am a mum to 5 children , 2 of which have autism ADHD and other issues , so as you can guess my life is very hectic ! i have a most wonderful boyfriend now after years of hesrt felt searching and trials and tribulations
that goes with divorce .
we are also a christian family striving to do whats right - but like every other human get it wrong often !
So here we are on a misearable -so called summer day in UK , rain and a little sun which to be honest would be warmer in a refrigerator lol ! sigh how i long to feel some warm sunshine ..... anyone out there willing to give us a little oh pleeeeease !!!!!
now share nicely whats your mothers told you haha ha ha .
Ok so heres the deal out of my 5 children i would say 3 are generally pretty good eaters, the other 1 of them ...... so lets move on lol, well he can be extremely hard work love as i do all my children he does take a lot more of my greying hairs i have
to say . and my bf affectionately refers to my hair - when it needs dying as " the badger " and tells me im killing it and he will be getting the rspca to see me lol hes so funny :-D .
So back to the non eating issue well we have had every trick in the book but alas Mr picky cannot be fooled , ive sneeked , smothered, made pretty pictures, played games that would make mr bean look sane but alas no nothing worked . i guess at that point
i kinda gave up and let him do his own thing.......... THEN one day last week totally out of the blue DS asked if i would make him some grilled red and yellow peppers to go with his meatballs !!!!!!! i almost fell off my heels and broke my ankle lol ! wowowowowow
where that came from with him i just dont know AS THIS IS THE KIDS WHO TO HIM THE WORD "VEG" IS A SWEAR WORD ! so i made him some along side the meatballs i made and he ate them !
admittedly i do have to do his meatballs separately as he doesnt like any sauce BUT he ate the whole lot up declaring quite innocently and bluntly to the point - as autistic kids do " guess you can cook after all mum quite nice !" i take that as a compliment
because they are very very rare in this house ! so you see people there is really life after autism ( well actually with autism but you know what i mean )
