Lemon Balm Pesto Spaghetti

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2013
This was awesome! Such a great use of our lemon mint. We used this as a base. We sauteed broccoli, red onion, a can of diced tomatoes, chopped up some chicken and added probably twice as much of the lemon basil pesto. We wanted a strong pesto taste. When I did it separately though, I was nicely surprised of how much it tasted like basil pesto. Very good! Thank you for sharing.

Oma's Rhubarb Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2013
My husband had four pieces of this and a lot of others had seconds. I substituted the sour cream for plain yogurt and added some vanilla extract. I changed it to 4+ cups of rhubarb and put half brown and half white sugar. This cake is light and very good!

Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
An easy recipe. I dumped some vanilla extract in it, a little bit of sour cream (maybe 2 tbsp), added a crumble on some. The ones without the crumble are way better. Very nice - moist and delicious! I also used three bananas and one plantain that I had frozen.

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
This recipe has been a hit every time I have served it. I have made it without melting the butter in the pan, and melting it. Both ways are good. I've tried lots of different mixtures, bananas and chocolate chips, peaches, strawberries and blueberries, or just peach and blueberries. It is an easy cake that I can whip up for guests when I do not have a lot of time. I have used fresh fruit, canned fruit, and frozen fruit. I always add a little vanilla extract to it. I double the recipe and put it in a 9X13 pan. Oh and I just add fruit until it looks full. Definitely recommend this recipe!
