This recipe has been a hit every time I have served it. I have made it without melting the butter in the pan, and melting it. Both ways are good. I've tried lots of different mixtures, bananas and chocolate chips, peaches, strawberries and blueberries, or just peach and blueberries. It is an easy cake that I can whip up for guests when I do not have a lot of time. I have used fresh fruit, canned fruit, and frozen fruit. I always add a little vanilla extract to it. I double the recipe and put it in a 9X13 pan. Oh and I just add fruit until it looks full. Definitely recommend this recipe!
