Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
Well! Delicious recipe - thank you! I did make the changes with spices that other reviewers suggested - 1tsp of cloves and 1tsp of nutmeg - GREAT addition. I improvised a bit with the topping, 3 tbsp of brown sugar instead of white, turned out great for me! Gorgeous product as well :)

Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2010
Love love LOVE the pumpkin cookie. The taste and consistency was beautiful and moist. I used a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop and the shapes were perfect - they did not spread out much at all, just puffed up. On the other hand, I took off one star for the filling. Frosting with all shortening, to me, has a greasy texture. Next time, I would follow one reviewer's suggestion of mallow cream - yummmmm. That being said, I took them to work and have had people gushing all day : )

Chocolate Fudge Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
A keeper! I used Hershey's special dark cocoa powder and butter-flavored shortening, but I don't know if I would do that again. I used literally, the whole jar of smuckers hot fudge. Amazing.

The Whole Jar of Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2010
I topped these with a recipe for chocolate fudge butter cream and they were GONE within a two hour time period. I used Jif creamy peanut butter and added Reese's peanut butter chips instead of nuts and they were perfect. Thanks!

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
Wowza. Perfection. I actually forgot the vanilla! But it was still amazing. Very light and moist and chocolaty. I generously sprayed the pans and they slipped out with no problems. The only thing was, that the first cake I left in too long... it's done if the fork comes out with no batter, cake crumbs are ok! Second cake was perfect : ) THANK YOU!

Rick's Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2009
I used several of the other user's suggestions -- 1/2 salted butter and 1/2 shortening, as well as less sugar. I planned on using 6 cups like others did, but found that then the texture was too greasy, so I went up to 7 and it was perfect. I added about 2 tblspns more cream to cut the vanilla flavor as well. Amazing. So many compliments. I had MORE Than enough to frost a 9" two layer cake AND a mini cake (2 layers about 5") and have about 2 cups left. I'll come back to this for sure!

Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
Unbelievable! Easy to follow and amazing results. I received so many compliments. I did add mini chocolate chips and followed another's advice about upping the spices -- I added another 1/2 teaspoon of each -- and it was perfect! Thanks!

Rosemary Turkey Meatloaf

well... i sent my boyfriend out to get ground turkey, and he said there was none so he bought super lean ground beef. i used that and kept everything else the same. it was awesome!! i took off one star just because i made it with different meat. i can't wait to try it with turkey, i'm sure it'll be grand.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
wow. these are REALLY rich. i've never made sugar cookies from scratch and was surprised by the consistency of the dough. they are very good, but in my opinion, border on butter cookies instead of sugar. unless i did something wrong, which is entirely possible...

This was fantastic. I had never used dry sauce mix, but it was great. I did cook the noodles before putting them in the pan. That part was time consuming.
