Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2008
Delicious! I have to admit this is even better than how my mom makes it...usually this meal is a little bland for my taste, but this recipe gave the right amount of flavor! I did what other reviewers did and added 2 parts beer 1 part water...definitely a must!

Wedge Salad with Elegant Blue Cheese Dressing

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2008
This was VERY good...they serve this at one of my favorite restaraunts and I was so glad to find the recipe...only thing I did different was to also add some crumbled bacon on top of it!

Beef Fajitas

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
These were really good! A little too lemony for my taste so next time I think I will leave the zest out, but other than that they were fantastic!

Quick and easy! Next time I might add some dijon mustard on the fish to spice it up a bit!

Mexican Caviar

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
I was making a mexican inspired meal and at the last minute realized I didn't have any salsa! This was an incredibly easy dip to make and quite good...instead of fresh tomatoes (I didn't have any on hand) I used a can of diced tomatoes. I also followed other reviewers ideas of adding some cilantro. It turned out great!

Marinated Cucumbers

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2007
I loved these, and they are great to keep on hand in the fridge when you are craving a light snack. Alot of marinated cucumbers are to vinegary, but these are just right!

Shrimp Francesca

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2010
oh my goodness...so easy and so good! Everyone raved about it (which never happens with my shrimp dishes) I love that it tastes "fancy" but is not to heavy of a dish...definitely a keeper! I tossed it with pasta and served with a green salad and garlic bread. Definitely make as directed!

Manhattan Clam Chowder

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2007
First off let me say that when I went to make the soup, I realized I forgot to buy clams so I substituted a can of shrimp...so while I didn't think this tasted as "manhattan clam chowder" like as I usually have (my family is from the northeast) it might be because I left out a main ingredient! I will most likely try this again b/c it really was tasty and I am sure with all the necessary ingredients it would be amazing. I will also double the liquids because it was a little "stew like" and not as brothy as I like soup to be...but that is a personal preference!

Sunday Morning Asian Frittata

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2007
My parents liked this, but I however was not a fan. Something about having an asian inspired breakfast just didn't work for me, I like to stick to my classics. Not to mention all the prep work and making it just wasn't wort it...sorry!

Mom's Mozzarella Chicken for Drew

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
SO good!!! I made my own tomato sauce (that I could eat like soup i swear!) and right before I poured the sauce in I cut up the chicken just to make it easier for everyone...my gosh the chicken is SO tender! I followed the recipe as is otherwise, served over angel hair with garlic bread and everyone loved it!

Cream of Broccoli Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2008
This had a wonderful taste but the texture was all weird...I did what others had done and used potato flakes...maybe that was the problem? I prefer my broccoli cheese soup much creamier...I probably won't be making this again just b/c of that...it tasted good though!
