I come from a family of cooks so it was only natural for me to continue with this love. I have been married for 13 years and have two children. Many of their favorite recipes have come from this site. I love preparing appetizers and desserts. I have great memories of working side by side with my mom while cooking, chili on Halloween night, spinach dip on New Year's Day, and a hot ham sandwich and vegetable soup on Christmas Eve. Also, I fondly remember the mouth watering homemade noodles made my aunt on Thanksgiving. am proud that I can make gravy, layered cakes and homemade yeast rolls. The gravy was quite a challenge to me. I have often set off the smoke alarm while cooking- even though it has been quite a while since this has happened.
