I used this recipe to make the frosting on the cake, and the colored frosting.
I halfed the amounts since I was only frosting one cake. There was plenty left over to use food coloring for some fun decorations. (I can not find my decorating tips, so I used a ziploc bag and cut a hole in the corner)
The cake cuts the sweetness of the frosting. My kids loved it!
