Throw-Together Short Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
I made this for dinner and my son loved it!! Instead of using a slow cooker, I slow cooked it on the stove for 2 hours. I didn't have any tomatoes on hand so I used half a cup of tomato sauce instead. I also threw in some hot pepper flakes to add kick. Great recipe I'll be making this again soon.

Chickpea Falafel Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2008
Great recipe!! Really easy too. As with the other raters, it definitely needs at least another cup of bread crumbs to hold everything together. Ohterwise, I like it just the way it is. I'm adding this to my favourite recipes book. Thanks!!

Vegetable Stuffed Cannelloni

Reviewed: Mar. 19, 2009
Wow, this was really good. Lots of flavour. I made a few changes. I did not have any zucchini so I simply skipped it and I used manicotti instead of cannelloni because it would be easier to stuff. I used feta cheese instead of ricotta because I didn't have any. This recipe was very time consuming even though it was simple to make. I used a pastry bag to stuff the filling into the manicotti noodle. This technique made things so much easier. The next time I make this, I might try rolling the filling in some fresh lasagne sheets to make things easier.

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2009
I really like this recipe because of its simplicity. The roast turned out very tender, even better the next day. However, I didn't use a slow cooker. I cooked it on the stove under low heat for approximately 3 hours.

Very tasty!! My husband who does not like fresh salmon actually said he didn't mind it at all. The sauce took away the fishy taste and was super easy to prepare. Im preparing this for the next family gathering...thanks for the recipe.

Quinoa with Sweet Potato and Mushrooms

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2010
Loved it!! I made it exactly as the recipe directions. However, I added a little bit too much cayenne and was a little too spicy for me. Something different from the everyday menu. Thanks will make it again soon.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: May 6, 2014
I made this recipe last night. I used boneless chicken thighs instead of breast because its more tender and moist and also followed Mamaspice's advice to us Sarachia hot sauce. It came out amazing. Sweet spicy sticky and so delicious. We make it again and again.
