Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2011
I goofed...I melted all 2 cups of chips and added it to the batter. I then added white chips in the mix (about 1 cup). They turned out very delicious!!! They are very fudge/brownie like. I didn't like them rolled in the confectioner's sugar. They were too sweet.

Heavenly Angel Food Cake

I measured the eggs out as suggested and only used 10 farm eggs. Otherwise, I followed this recipe as written. This recipe was sooooo easy and incredibly delicious. The title fits it perfectly as it is truly heavenly!! My daughter has asked for this cake for her birthday 2 years in a row.

Cod with Italian Crumb Topping

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2010
This was excellent! I followed another's modification by skipping the egg and adding 2T mayo and 1 t. lemon juice. I would use 1T mayo with 1-2t. lemon juice. My family loved this recipe and I will probably make it again.

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
This recipe was so easy and delicious!!! The only change I made, was to add lots of extra apple in the pan when I cooked the chicken, added extra wine in order to make more gravy to top it with. I have made this recipe many times and shared with lots of friends!

White Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
Incredible!!! My 6 yr. old and I made these. I accidentally stirred the oats (old fashioned) in first and I think she must have added 4 c. flour instead of 3. The mixture was very dry and crumbly. To fix it, I added applesauce (about 1/2 - 1 c.) until the mixture was thick and held together. Instead of nuts, we added shredded raw coconut. We also added a mix of white and dark chocolate and milk chocolate chips and these cookies were a huge hit!!! I probably need to write these up with exact measurements as a new recipe. Sorry about all the modifications, but these were really good cookies.

Cracked Wheat Sourdough Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2007
Add salt to the recipe! Excellent flavor, needs salt! I followed the recipe and the first bite, I said, I forgot the salt. After re-reading the recipe, I saw salt was missing. I would add 1-2 tsp. the next time. The flavor of this bread is absolutely WONDERFUL!!

Fruit Pizza III

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2007
This is wonderful!!! I made it for a dinner party and everyone raved about it. The crust was out of this world good. I wasn't sure how "dry" the crust dough should be, and ended up adding all of the 4 cups flour and had a crumbling crust. I added more butter to help moisten the dough and then spread it out in the pan. After adding 3 c. of flour, proceed very slowly with additional flour until dough is dry and not crumbly. I also added extra cream cheese-2 pkg cream cheese, 1-8ox. container of Cool whip, and 4 tsp. vanilla. I used kiwi, strawberry, blueberries and it was so pretty!
