Grandma's Baking Powder Biscuits
Just made this recipe, and it turned out pretty good! I ended up using heavy whipping cream (because that is what I had.. was out of milk) I also added some minced garlic and grated parmesean cheese.

Different Chicken Divan
I loved this recipe! The only changes I made were: Instead of fresh broccoli, I took a bag of frozen chopped broccoli and placed it in the casserole dish frozen, it cooked up just fine. I also used 1/4 cup of sour cream and 3/4 cup of mayo. I also used shredded chicken that I had made via crockpot during the day (just threw some chicken breasts and chicken broth or water in a crockpot and cooked it at low all day). It saved me alot of time by making the chicken that way and using frozen broccoli. I served it over steamed rice. One other note, this recipe does have a bite to it. I might scale back on the Curry and Cayenne a little bit next time. But it is still very good.

Taco Casserole
I have to give this a 5 because it was easy and turned out great. I actually followed the recipe pretty closely. The only changes I made were ground turkey instead of ground beef (it's healthier), more cheese (which balances out the healthiness of the ground turkey with the unhealthiness of alot of cheese) and got a can of diced tomatoes with green chilis. I tried some black bean and garlic flavored tortilla chips (they were new at my store) and it turned out great. I think the cook time might be a little too long. I think you can pull it out after about 20 minutes. This is a great base recipe, and I can't wait to get more creative and add different things in as I go!
