Bananas Foster Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2014
Very rich but extremely good! Will definitely make again! Next time though, going to add in maybe 1-2 more bananas in syrup mixture. Quick and easy and super worth it!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
I'm definitely not a spicy/hot person, but I couldn't stop eating this pizza even though my mouth was on fire! lol The brand of hot sauce and blue cheese can make or break this pizza. I highly recommend Franks Buffalo Wings Hot Sauce. It does have a kick, but it's way too good to pass up! For me, my spicy/hot tolerance is quite low. I would rate Franks hottness a 7 out of 10. My boyfriend who has an extremely high tolerance, rates it a 3-4. I have made this twice, second time using a different, milder, hot sauce. It wasn't nothing compareable to the first time I made this. So stick with Franks! :D I have been told by family that this is the best pizza they have ever tasted. Even my picker father agreed, who is a major pizza guru lol. I havent found the perfect blue cheese yet, but hope so to make this pizza beyond amazing :) Thanks for the wonderful pizza!

I've made these cookies five times! Always amazing and delicous! Definitely the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever tasted. Such a big hit at partys and family gathers!!! So MOIST AND TASY! My sister and law ate one, and asked me if i made them that day. She was shocked when I told her that I made them 5 days ago! Perfect baking time for me was 11 minutes. Will be making for always :)

Healing Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Absolutely wonderful! My family always begs for this soup on cold days. Definitely a major hit! lol I found that half a cabbage is plenty for the soup. I added crushed, dried mint leaves to the soup which gave it a wonderful aroma and taste! I usually add 1 T of it to my soup, makes a big difference!

Hawaiian Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
This bread was okay, not what i expected. Personally believe that it doesn't taste nothing like Kings Hawaiian bread. Couldn't taste the banana at all. Would recommend using pineapple juice than the stuff in a can. Maybe I'll try next time with very ripe bananas.

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
Very moist and dense! Family really loved it! It's healthy too, which is great. But I must admitt though that next time I make this, it will be smothered in cream cheese icing lol I was craving icing for it the whole time :) Worth the time and effort!

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
Absolutely delicious! I served the mahi mahi with pineapple slices and Hawaiian sweet rolls. The sauce is amazing too! so dont discard it after you're done marinating the fish. I doubled the amount of sauce as did other viewers. Made it another time with chicken instead of fish. The chicken was dry even though I marinated it for 2 hours. So, definitely will stick with the mahi mahi :)

Green Beans with Bread Crumbs

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
So quick and easy that looks gourmet with any meal! The flavor of this dish doesn't over power the natural taste of the green beans, which I love. Definitely a keeper for my family :)

Beer and Brown Sugar Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
This was so quick and easy to make! I followed suggestions made by other people about adding the montreal seasioning packet. For my family, the terikayi taste was too pungent for us. Next time, probably only use half.

Orange Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
It was good and easy to make. Definitely a different kind of taste for carrots. But maybe too sweet for my taste for a carrot.

Souvlaki

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2008
Delicous! I used the sauce to marinate pork chops for 3-4 hrs. For me, I could definitely taste the lemon juice and oregano, which I loved! I used teriyaki marinade sauce instead of the soy sauce to cut back on a salty taste. Worth making again :)

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2008
Could't believe how delicous these came out! I forgot to use the marinade on the chicken during cooking on the grill, and still tasted great! By request, I'm making them again tomorrow. :) Definitely a keeper! Also, on the skewers I added pineapple chunks, mushroom slices, and carrots. Uber yummy!

Traditional Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2008
Delicious mashed potatoes I must say! Only reason why I didn't give it five stars is that it lacked a buttery taste. I had to add more butter than recommended and I'll probably clog my arteries! I also used garlic salt to give it a mild garlic taste which made it even better!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
Wanted to try a diff recipe from my own. Followed recipe exactly, but maybe its just my taste buds and preferance. This pancake didnt impress me or scream uber yummy. To me, it tasted too much of flour rather than buttermilk. I'll stick with my buttermilk recipe instead :)

Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
Simply delicious and yummy! I was weary about the shortening in the recipe, but tried it anyways. Glad I did! I couldn't help but to eat the icing from the spoon and mixing bowl. I must say, best icing ever! Much better than the store bought kind. Simple, and easy to make!

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
Just got done eating this filet mignon... and I must say... THIS WAS AMAZING! Definitely mouth watering and delicious! I followed the advice from previous reviews about adding brown sugar to the balsamic/wine mixture. I added roughly a tablespoon of it. I used a different kind of wine though, which was Riunite Lambrusco. Simply wonderful! My b/f said it was awesome. So, its definitely a keeper ;)

Mini Cheesecakes

Absolutely delicious! These were gone in no time. My boyfriend loves em too! I used a graham cracker crust instead of the vanilla waffer as advised by others. Glad I did too!
