Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
I'm sorry, but I did not care for these cookies at all. My husband and kids thought they were pretty bad too. We made this recipe twice thinking maybe I missed something, or did it wrong. Nope it was the recipe. I think maybe the pudding had a lot to do with the flavor.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2008
JUST GOT DONE WITH DINNER AND THE FAMILY LOVED THIS CHICKEN ! I ADDED CHCKEN LEGS TO THE RECIPE SINCE "I THINK BREAST IS A LITTLE DRY" ALSO I DID FOLLOW A FEW SUGGESTIONS FROM SOME OF THE REVIEWERS. INSTEAD OF GARLIC POWER, I USED REAL GARLIC AND CHOPPED IT UP REAL FINE POURED IT OVER THE CHICKEN WITH FINE CHOPPED YELLOW ONION. IN A SEPERATE SMALL SAUCE PAN I ADDED SOME OF THE BUTTER JUICE THAT WAS COOKING WITH THE CHICKEN, AND 1/4 CUP OF FLOWER, (MORE SALT) WHISKED IT OVER A LOW FLAME UNTIL IT WAS LIKE GRAVY. POURED IT OVER THE CHICKEN 10 MIN BEFORE IT WAS DONE. IT WAS SPECTACULAR !!! QUICK & EASY. I SERVED IT WITH BOILED CARROTS & GREEN BEANS, AND SCALLOPED POTATOES THAT I ALSO GOT A RECIPE FOR ON THIS SITE. WA LA!! DINNER IS SERVED.... THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE WILL USE AGAIN!

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2007
WOW !! CREPES ARE MY FAVORITE AND I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL OF THE RECIPES ON THIS SITE. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND ONE THAT WORKS !! I LOVE IT, IT IS THE EASIEST AND THE BEST ONE SO FAR. MY KIDS DON'T LIKE CREPES, BUT I ALWAYS MAKE THEM TRY EVERYTHING I MAKE AND I WAS SHOCKED WHEN THEY TOLD ME HOW GOOD IT WAS. THE ONLY THING I DID DO DIFFERENTLY IS ADD ABOUT A 1/3 CUP OF SUGAR, AND ABOUT 1 TSP. OF VANILLA. AS SOMEONE REQUESTED ON AN EARLIER REVIEW. IT REALLY IS THE BEST. THANKS FOR THIS RECIPE !!! I WILL CONTINUE TO USE IT...........

Grilled Tri-tip Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2007
FIRST TIME COOKING THE TRI TIP ROAST ON THE GRILL. I FOLLOWED DIRECTIONS WITH ONLY ONE ADJUSTMENT. INSTEAD OF GARLIC POWER, I USED MINCED GARLIC. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS AS DIRECTED, AND IT WAS DELIOUS !! MAKE SURE YOU WATCH IT TO NOT OVER COOK. WE LIKE OURS MED-RARE, AND IT ACTUALLY COOKED IN ABOUT 50 TO 55 MINUTES. I THINK ANY LONGER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TO DRY. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!

Extreme Crepes

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2007
I LOVE CREPES AND THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME MAKING THEM. I FOLLOWED THE RECIPE AS IT READS, AND I'M NOT SURE IF I DID SOMETHING WRONG OR I JUST NEED TO PRACTICE A LITTLE MORE. I DID READ OTHER REVIEWS THAT SUGGESTED NO OR LITTLE BAKING SODA, AND MAYBE MORE MILK. I'M NOT GIVING UP I WILL TRY IT AGIAN WITH A FEW LITTLE AJUSTMENT. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE....
