Lemony Quinoa

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2010
Very good!!!!!! An awesome recipe. Thank you. Changed it up a bit but still a great recipe as is...added chicken broth instead of water, 1 tsp of cumin and cilantro instead of parsley.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
I have always made these exactly as the recipe states (ok, sometimes I use dried rosemary) and with or without sugar, it doesn't matter. They are awesome and I have never had anyone not like them.

These turned out awesome and we do not have much luck with dough in our house!

Best Black Beans

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2012
So good! Rinsed the beans and put them back in the can and then poured chicken broth into the can until full to replace the liquid. Didn't add as much onion. Added some cumin because we like it. Thank you for a very good recipe!

Sour Cream Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
My chops turned out dry like some of the other reviewers. Maybe it's a combination of the meat and what kind of slow cooker you use. It's a great idea if you can get it to turn out. I browned them with well-seasoned flour cooked in chicken broth for 6 hours on low.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
I always doubt the simple recipes, but have been proven wrong again. I added the exact same ingredients, but seared the meat after letting it sit for a few minutes sprinkled with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. At the end of cooking time, I added Wondra to the gravy to thicken it a little.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2008
I read other reviews before making this. I shredded the chicken and added more garlic, chicken broth, and cumin than was stated. We added some salt (our preference) and about a teaspoon of Tobasco, and rinsed, black beans.

Mini Sour Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
Really easy, really good. I added about a 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 tsp of garlic powder and 1/2 tsp of italian seasoning to a double batch. They were very well liked and I liked the small size.

Apple Cole Slaw

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
Good!!! We didn't use the red pepper. And we added 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and some chopped walnuts as others had suggested. We also did not use a regular red delicious apple, but that's a minor adjustment.

Mexican Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
I love this salad so much. I've made it several times and anyone who tries it says it is good. I only use 1/4 c. each of the oil and vinegar and sometimes add in extra beans and corn - just personal preference. There is still some "juice" left that it all soaks up. So easy but so good. Thanks for the recipe.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2013
My husband can't stop talking about this! It was really good and I made it just as it's stated. Mine was shred-able in 6 hours for a nearly 4 lb roast. Thanks for the recipe. I was looking for one that didn't just ask for a bottle of bbq sauce thrown on top and this was perfect.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
Great recipe. I didn't have 1/4 cup of honey so I had to use less but I think I liked it that way. I also added more steak sauce and some chicken montreal seasoning. I've been cutting my chicken breasts butterfly style so they are thinner and I marinated those in 1/2 the mixture for a few hours and then basted while cooking. They were quick and tasty. Thank you for the recipe!

BBQ Pork Salad with Summer Fruits and Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2012
I am rating this on the dressing alone because I didn't have all the other ingredients. But I don't think it mattered. It was really good! Thank you.
