Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
Was surprisingly amazed that husband actually liked it. I did alter the recipe a tad bit. I used the entire 16oz jar of Pace Picante salsa & the entire packet of McCormick's Chili seasoning mix. This is a simple & great chili recipe. It's a keeper. Thank you for sharing..

This recipe was a success for Thanksgiving! I did add marshmallows to half of the casserole. My friend, who doesn't like sweet potato, actually ate some & really liked it. She even took some home. Thanks for a simple & delicious recipe. Will make again for Christmas...

Absolutely delicious!! Though I used 3/4 tsp. of cayenne pepper since I didn't have red pepper flakes, it was great. My husband liked it better than another recipe I tried off of here, he had 2 meatball subs for dinner. This recipe is a keeper!! Thank you LTH..

Meatball Sandwich

I've never made homemade meatballs before but this was a really good start even though my husband thought they were a little bland. Next time I'll have to adjust the ingredients. Maybe add some spices here & there..

Habichuelas Guisadas

I am sooo glad I found this recipe! It's just like my mom makes it but she adds a ham hock to it. Since I no longer speak to my mom, I can make my own beans & not have to wait to eat hers.

Pollo Fajitas

My husband loved it! He's a very pickie eater. Didn't have cider vinegar so I used regular white vinegar & marinated it overnight. Tender, delicious, & simple to make for any busy working mom. Will make again! Thanks for the recipe.

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2007
I love this recipe just as much as my family! Even though I too made minor modifications from the original recipe, it still came out delicious! Instead of the tbsp of basil, I used dried minced garlic (I'm a garlic lover). I used 2 eggs in place of the butter. The cooling rack idea from another reviewer worked great. I have a cooling rack that fit perfectly inside one of my cookie sheets. The only reason why I used the cookie sheet was to avoid any crumbs falling to the bottom of the oven, on the floor or even the countertop. This idea most definitely helped to make the chicken crispy & not soggy. Cooking the chicken in the broiler for the last 5 minutes was an added bonus to really crispy chicken.
