AMAZING!! What an awe inspiring treat but SUCH an easy recipe!!! I actually had the marshmallow creme on hand and I had no texture issues. Perhaps because it's not heated like the marshmallows...?? I had Choco-crispies on hand so I used that. I also used crunchy PB, which was good but I'm trying creamy next ;) Used the chocolate candy melts I had then drizzled PB flavored candy melts on top. GORGEOUS!! I loaded up on supplies and I'm ready to make the next 4 batches for xmas!!!

Croutons

I couldn't find any store bought croutons without phosphates so I wanted to try making my own. SO EASY!!! I did like another reviewer said and melted butter in the bowl, sprinkled a little garlic salt in there, then tossed in the bread cubes and shook them up with the lid on. GREAT!! I didn't cut off the crusts. I used leftover bread heels as well.

Grilled Sweet Potatoes

Like the submitter, I don't care for sweet potatoes... at least that's what I thought! This was a family hit. I melted the butter and other ingredients in a bowl and tossed the diced potatoes in it first to evenly coat. Since some said it was too spicy for the kids I put a dash of cayenne and the rest paprika (hubby hates cinnamon). They didn't taste spicy at all this way. Easy to cook. I was suprised at how soft they were when they were so hard to cut through raw. Really good!! Thanks teetee830!!

Flying Grasshopper

Very sweet. I'd suggest NOT using the green colored creme de menthe... it looks pretty nasty, lol. I used milk, instead of cream. Also added a little extra but it's still very sweet and very strong.

Coffee Cooler

It was okay. Not very cold, even though I used extra ice cubes. I make my own Frapu... type thing and it's a lot better. Banana and coffee go GREAT together, though. I use it my frozen version.

Potato Salad III

I'm not a big potato salad lover but I really liked this! I used green onions in place of yellow onions. I also added about a tablespoon (but I doubled the recipe) of vinegar. I also threw in some bacon bits. Maybe the people that think it's so bland aren't using the "salt and pepper to taste" step?? This is a simple potato salad that used ingredients you have on hand. I am filing this one and will make it again.

Taqueria Style Tacos - Carne Asada

This is a great recipe. Just watch the salt. You probably would want cut the salt by at least half. Other than that you can make it then see what you would like to alter the next time. I have made it several times now and everyone loves it.

This was pretty good. It worked for me and the ingredients I had in the house. Good, easy to make dinner. I cooked some white rice in the rice cooker and we were good to go in under 30 minutes.

Restaurant-Style Cheesy Poblano Pepper Soup

I have already made this 3 times. Be warned... you have to add WAY more liquid to it. I think I used about 8 cups of chicken broth last time. As a result I had to up the tortilla and flour mixture, but just by a little. I garnish it with cheddar cheese, the tortilla strips, and also cilantro and green onions. Those garnishes make the flavor perfect, IMO. I am in love with this soup! It is really filling.

Bow Tie Pasta with Sausage and Sweet Peppers

This is on my regular menu now!! You can't beat such a low-fat, simple, AND totally tasty dish! Plus it's something you can easily play around with. I added some diced tomatoes, as did others. Who would have known that beef broth would be such a great pasta sauce?!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

I don't get it. Everyone loved this recipe and I followed it to a T; but I didn't care for it. It SMELLED good but it didn't taste very great. It was edible but I would have prefered to just marinate the steak in plain old soy sauce for 30 minutes. The steak tasted pretty tart.

No Bake Chocolate Cookies II

I am so confused about this recipe! The bad reviews all sound like people were cooking the oat mixure, which is NOT called for. Just boil the sugar mixture then remove from heat and add the dry stuff (think rice krispy treats). So I thought mine would turn out good since these people must have just done it wrong. Well, the oats seem like they NEED to be cooked. The flavor has so much potential but you are chewing on raw oats. I don't get it. If I do this again I will try combining advice and I will boil the mixure for 3 minutes then add the oat mix and cook for another 2 minutes. Maybe it would turn out right? Oh, I took advice and reduced sugar to about 1 1/3c. Like I said the flavor makes me think the cookies would be GREAT if the consistency was right.

Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies

I would make these again but next time I'd cut down a little on the choc chips. It seems like there are more chips than dough. But if you are a chocoholic than it's probably great for you! I just love the toffee. Oh, and I used Heath toffee bits because every other recipe called for either/or so I figured theya re the same as that brickle stuff (I don't know what that is, lol)

Tuna Noodle Casserole IV

I don't know if they meant condensed milk when they said canned milk. But I just used regular milk. Per other suggestions I only used a 1/4 cup. I added onions, carrots, and peas to this recipe. It was a pretty bland recipe but can easily be dressed up. It needs salt (and I'm not crazy about salt). In my own dish I put garlic salt and a lot of crushed red pepper and it tasted good. I would make it again but I would add more spice prior to cooking it.
