About this Cook
I love to eat, scrapbook, cook, and make jewelry (in that order). My husband and I have 2 growing boys (one eats my food and the other doesn't) who are 4 and 5.
My favorite things to cook
Meat. Haha, I am truly a meat lover and never feel that a meal is a meal without it. I also make beef jerky.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I grew up eating enchiladas for Christmas dinner.

Tuna Dip II
Edible but weird. I thought because of the great reviews that these flavors would match a lot better. Nope.... tastes like it sounds. Tuna? Try again :(

I couldn't find any store bought croutons without phosphates so I wanted to try making my own. SO EASY!!! I did like another reviewer said and melted butter in the bowl, sprinkled a little garlic salt in there, then tossed in the bread cubes and shook them up with the lid on. GREAT!! I didn't cut off the crusts. I used leftover bread heels as well.

Grilled Sweet Potatoes
Like the submitter, I don't care for sweet potatoes... at least that's what I thought! This was a family hit. I melted the butter and other ingredients in a bowl and tossed the diced potatoes in it first to evenly coat. Since some said it was too spicy for the kids I put a dash of cayenne and the rest paprika (hubby hates cinnamon). They didn't taste spicy at all this way. Easy to cook. I was suprised at how soft they were when they were so hard to cut through raw. Really good!! Thanks teetee830!!
