Quick and Easy Pancit

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2012
One of my family's favorite recipe's! So easy and so good. Have fun with it and add things you like. I add shrimp, snow peas or snap peas, green onions and minced ginger. I also use bagged coleslaw mix which saves a lot of time. Really simple and delicious. When I bring this to potlucks people devour it. Thanks for a great recipe!

Jalapeno Quail Appetizers

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
Wonderful! My husband was served quail with jalapenos and bacon on a hunt and asked me to try this with the quail he brought home over the weekend. I was so pleased to find this recipe. So easy and tasted delicious! I am sure this will be my go to quail recipe in the future. Thanks for sharing!

Hungarian Goulash III

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
Very tasty. My whole family enjoyed this recipe. I doubled the recipe and cut the brown sugar in half and still found it a little sweet for my taste. I would probably omit the brown sugar next time but there will definitely be a next time!

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
Great easy recipe. I love that all the ingredients are things I usually have on hand. My entire family loved it. They even ate up all the leftovers. (that never happens in my house) I only had one can of soup so I used a can of tomato sauce in place of the second can. I also didn't have instant rice so I boiled 1/4 cup regular rice for about 10 minutes. It turned out great. I will definitely make this again.

Ground Nut Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
Wonderful Recipe!! I cut the peanut butter in half and used the whole can of tomatoes. Also added some coriander, chopped garlic, chopped ginger and diced yams. I skipped the mushrooms and served it over rice. It was delicious! I will definitely be making this again. I can't wait to dig into my leftovers! Thanks for sharing!

Pure Maple Candy

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2009
This is the best recipe I have found for Maple Candy (which is my favorite!) Be advised though! It takes practice to determine the correct time to pour off. This is my third batch and I am still getting the hang of it. The candy turns out perfect for me, but my goal is for it to taste great and look beautiful. I am still working on beautiful... my first few candies look great but they get a little lumpy as the sugar starts to harden. I recommend making small batches in a small pot until you get the hang of it. Thanks so much for the recipe! Where I live I pay as much for a small box of this candy as I do for a large 32 ounce jar of syrup, and 32 ounces makes a lot of candy!

Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
I thought this was a great quick meal. Easy to prepare with ingredients that I usually have on hand. I did use cream of mushroom soup in place of the mushrooms and only used 4 bullion cubes. (only used 1 1/4 pound of gr. beef) I added just enough water to get it to a consistancy that I was happy with, and served it with egg noodles. I am not sure that a true stroganoff lover would like it, I don't like sour cream or creamy meals so I loved it, a purist could always add some sour cream to taste. Thanks for the recipe!

Gumbo Style Chicken Creole

I love this recipe! Quick, easy and tons of flavor. I stuck to the recipe with the exception of adding 1 cup of chicken broth to make more sauce. It was delicious!
