Blender Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Oh Yeah, that is what I am talking about! Maybe too easy, because I am thinking I will be making a BUNCH and it is loaded with butter!!! Maybe I will have to limit myself to one batch a week. Bummer that. Had a little left over, so I put it in the fridge and then topped some white rice the next evening. Have I said YUM??

YUM YUM YUM Very easy to make and very good. I even served it by itself, as a side to salmon.

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
Very moist and tasty. Maybe just a little bit too sweet, but a sprinkle of salt and lime juice took care of that.

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
YUM! Made this last night and am making another batch this morning. I am going to make it just a bit sweeter, roll in smaller round balls, fry and then roll in powdered sugar. Oh yes, this will be made often!

Beef Bulgogi

This was awesome, I could not get the lettuce to wrap very well as suggested by some, so it became a salad. VERY GOOD!

Pear Scones

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
This was ok, but rather more like a muffin than a scone.

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
I love artichokes, so almost anything that has them I love. This was good, it was just not quite "IT". maybe the sour cream as suggested. It will be good as leftovers, chopped up and tossed with pasta

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2010
I loved it, my husband said it was just almost too sweet. Which means it was perfect for me. The three kernel warm up test was a great idea. Definetely be watchful, this will go to the burn stage pretty quick at the end. I pulled it off just right, but another 30 seconds and I think I would have had to throw it away. This really isn't 5 helpings, maybe two, but only if both are feeling generous with the popcorn. It would have been a little too much for me in one sitting, but I could have done it!

Beet Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 25, 2010
This is amazing! My husband will not eat beets, but he asked for this to be put in his lunch. A very chocolatey taste, dark and rich, but not too sweet! I added 2 TBS of cocoa per suggestions and would definetely recommend that addition.

Corn and Zucchini Melody

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
This was very good. I actually did not add the cheese, but instead put fried fresh bread crumbs on top, which added a bit more crunch which I really liked.

Zucchini Blossom a la Feta

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2010
Yummy. I had crumbled feta, so I just added a little bit of the egg to hold it together. Very good. I also used fresh bread crumbs, and after I was done frying the blossoms, I added the remaining fresh bread crumbs and fried them up golden as a topping for another dish. I will definetely do this again!

Rhubarb Cake I

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2010
Of course I doubled the Rhubarb! My friend, who "HATES" rhubarb, tried this cake, unknowingly and pronounced it the "BEST cake she had ever had" I told her it had rhubarb and she literally called me a liar I think that speaks volumes about how good a cake this is.

Fry Bread I

This was easy to make and turned out wonderful! I made enough fry bread for 22 people last night. I did not use anything near the amount of oil for frying it called for. (which is Great)

Awesome recipe. I had three huge basil plants to use up and made five batches of this stuff! Worked well over sauted chicken on top of Romaine Salad.

Indian Naan II

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2008
This wound up being pretty flat. The taste was good, but it certainly did not remind me of Naan. I wonder if the 5 minutes kneading was too much or if it needed a second rising?
