Apple Crumble Pie

This was the BEST. Made 8 small pies and used recipe for double pie crust. Wonderful balance of flavors as previous reviews stated.

Hungarian Goulash II

Excellent, a keeper. Husband loved it over noodles. Quick to prepare in AM and have for dinner. Will use a little less brown sugar next time.

Chicken Won Tons

This was a very easy recipe. I used beef and refried beans for the filling. It was very good and makes great snacks to heat in the microwave for later.

Fresh Berry Coffeecake

This was very tasty. Next time I would add half the amount of pecans, it was just too many for my family. I mixed blackberries and raspberries, very good combo.

Salsa Pork Chops and Potatoes Skillet Dinner

We found this recipe had way too much seasoning. The flavors over-powered the potaotes and pork. Would use half the taco flavoring mix and half the salsa.

This cake is the best. It has become my husbands favorite, the only one he requests. The only modification I have made is to soak the raisins in about 3 tablespoons of orange liquer for about 30 minutes. Sometimes I do not use the frosting but just sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I have been making this recipe for several months now and have modified it slightly to our tastes. I carmelize the onions in butter which adds a mild sweet taste. I also add two cloves of minced garlic to the cheese sauce. Another variation I have used is to add horseradish to the cheese sauce. I frequently make this for guests and get rave reviews each time. Excellent for buffets too.
