Linda's Lasagna

This recipe is amazing!! Usually I use ricotta cheese but I went with my gut and decided to try the cottage cheese and I'm so glad I did! It definitely gives it a creamier texture. I did take another users advice and added some basil, bay leaf, and fresh mushrooms it really adds to the flavor. Also I used Sargento artisan Parmesan and Romano for the cottage cheese mixture and the noodle layer and used Sargento mozzarella & asiago cheese for the top layer. Delicious!! Also, I soaked the noodles in room temp water for about an hour and what a difference it makes in the texture, no more boiling again!! Thank you for such a yummy recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This is simply amazing!! I have never tasted a potato soup with this much creaminess! I did add corn to the recipe and as other users suggested used Chicken Broth instead of bouillon. I also added a small amount of Philadelphia cream cheese to the sauce mixture and added sharp cheddar cheese on top served with sweet cornbread. Yummy! Will be making this again!! Thank you!

Creamy Hot Cocoa

I am in love with this recipe!! I tried another hot chocolate recipe from the website but it just didn't compare! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful recipe!! I did revise it a little bit I added 1/2 tsp ginger and nutmeg to it plus added whipped cream and a dash of pumpkin spice on top. Perfect for a cold winter night!

Grandma's Baking Powder Biscuits

These were so fluffy and delicious. Great recipe! It's important to 1. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS make sure you use fresh (or fairly new) flour and baking powder (it makes all the difference in the world with recipes that use flour as the main ingredient) and 2. do not pack the flour! If the recipe calls for 2 cups flour and you pack it, it will end up being 4 cups or more resulting in very dry and rock like biscuits. Again, these biscuits were amazing. Thanks for a great recipe!

Chocolate Ganache S'mores

This was delicious! My family gobbled it up! The only thing I did different was used mini marshmallows and it worked perfectly. I put it back in the fridge for the night and the next day we decided that it would be better left out on the counter in a container. Thank you for such a great recipe!

Creamy White Chili

My family gobbled this up tonight. It was fantastic. I did modify it just a bit. For starters I added onion, green pepper, minced garlic, chicken and olive oil to the pan and cooked for about 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, I drained the great northern beans ( I was afraid of soup like consistency instead of hearty chili) and corn. I also used Swanson's Mexican Tortilla Flavor Infused Broth ( includes flavors of monterey jack cheese, lime, cayenne pepper, cumin, toasted corn, jalapeno, and paprika). I put all ingredients into a crockpot and cooked on high for 2 hours. Once done I added just enough heavy whipping cream to give it that cream like texture without overbearing the rest of the flavors. I saved the sour cream for the side because my son dislikes sour cream. It is delicious with and without sour cream. I topped with cilantro, a sprinkle of monterey jack cheese, and served lime flavored tortillas on the side. This is my husbands new favorite chili recipe and mine as well. Thanks for a great recipe!

Baked French Toast

Oh, wow. This was amazing. Thank you so much for this delicious recipe! I did take the advice of another user and cut the amount of eggs to 6 and used 2 cups of half and half (no milk). I added more cinn, but that's a personal preference. I also cooked it in the oven for 20 minutes with foil and 20 mins without the foil. I will note I made the mistake of using a smaller baking dish and I do not recommend this because some of the bread will have a difficult time (or no time) soaking up the liquid. It was still delicious though. Thanks so much for a great recipe, I will be making this often.

Honey Mustard Salad Dressing

Love this dressing!! I used Dijon mustard instead of regular and didn't use as much vinegar. Also, it is a little runny but our family doesn't use that much dressing so the texture was fine for our preference. This recipe is definitely a keeper, thank you so much!

Party Lemonade

Great recipe! Instead of mashing the lemons with the sugar I juiced my lemons with a juicer (saved 2 for slicing) mixed the sugar, added water and iced cubes and then added lemon slices to the lemonade and chilled for a half hour. Superb thanks for sharing! If anyone tries this make sure to remove the sliced lemons from the lemonade at the end of the day. The lemons make the lemonade bitter if in there for too long.

Cajun Pasta Fresca

When I first looked at this recipe I thought it looked amazing. As I was preparing this I got nervous that it would be too salty, blandish, with cheese covering up the taste. Not so. I love this recipe it is a new spaghetti alternative. I didn't use 16oz noodles I thought that was too much. I did around 10-12oz and it seems perfect. I also used less cheese because I really like my foods with a spicy kick and this allowed that. Overall, thanks for the recipe it is something I will definitely make in the future!

Angel Hair with Feta and Sun-Dried Tomatoes

This recipe is so yummy!! I used jarred sun-dried tomatoes in oil (used the oil from the jar instead of olive oil), artichoke hearts, fresh basil and parsley (instead of cilantro), and Greek olives. Like other reviewers I sauteed the garlic and tomatoes and waited until the very end to add the feta. Definitely a keeper! Thank you!

Sour Cream Cheesecake

My boyfriend loves cheesecake and asked me to make this for him for his birthday. It was awesome! I hate cheesecake but I thought this tasted fantastic. I don't have a spring-form pan so instead I lined a round 9 inch pan with parchment on the bottom and sides and placed it in a bigger pan in a water bath. I also let it sit in the oven (with the oven off) for 30 minutes while making the topping instead of taking it out and putting it back in. Turned out great. Thanks for a superb recipe!

Ghirardelli® Triple Chocolate Truffle Cake

Coming from someone who hates cake this was delicious. I made this for my son and boyfriend for Valentines Day and they loved it! I didn't quite have enough semi-sweet chips so I had to use some of the milk chocolate chips and it turned out fine. Also, I didn't have parchment paper so I greased wax paper and used that instead. This is a very intensely sweet dessert and a very small piece should suffice. The only thing I kind of disliked was the cocoa powder taste. Next time I think I'll try using milk chocolate instead of semi-sweets. Overall, this was excellent and is the only cake that I'd be willing to eat again.

Taco Pie

If I would have listened to half of these reviews I wouldn't have had the opportunity to experience the deliciousness that the crescent rolls bring to the dish. The only changes I made were I added green chilies,corn, and beans. It was great my family ate it up and requested it again for dinner tonight.

Spicy Vegan Potato Curry

I am such a curry fanatic and this went beyond my expectations! I loved it. I used red potatoes and red onions and added frozen mixed veggies (broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and cauliflower). I also added 5 teaspoons of curry instead of 4, but that's just because I love it so much. Thanks for this recipe I will be making it often! For those who are not vegan or vegetarian and are using it as a side dish, this goes great with the coconut chicken recipe on here by Katie.

Coconut Chicken

This was fantastic!! I used fresh lime juice instead of from a bottle and I didn't grind the coconut into crumbs, I put it in shredded with the panko instead. I also added shredded coconut to the sauce while it was cooking. Next time I think I will add small pineapple chunks to it as well. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

I love the sauce. However, there is nearly not enough!! In order to consider this recipe marinated, you must actually marinate it. I placed the pork chops in a shallow baking dish covered in half of the sauce for about 4 hours. Then I baked them in the oven as instructed. I would definitely recommend tripling the sauce as it is not enough.
