Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
My mom used to make this for me when I was young, now I make it for my family each Christmas and on other special occasions. I brought this to the in-laws' this year and they all loved it. I don't mess with making my own chocolate sauce, I just use cake frosting and warm it up in the microwave before putting it on the dessert - it spreads easy that way.

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

Excellent flavor - next time I'll add a tad bit of cornstarch to thicken it up a bit.

Chinese Spicy Hot And Sour Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
I've eaten Hot & Sour soup many different times at many different locations. This recipe is better than most restaurants! The only one better is the First Wok in Grand Rapids, MI. Most restaurants use "black fungus" in their Hot & Sour soup, NOT Tiger lily buds - besides, Tiger lily buds are next to impossible to find and black fungus can be found in almost any Asian supermarket. Also to keep the darker color of the soup, use only the egg white - not the whole egg. The yolk turns the soup to a weird color, but doesn't effect the taste at all. This is a great recipe!

Kelsey's Cheesy Bacon Breasts

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
Very good! I've cooked this twice; once cooking the bacon before placing it on the chicken, then for the second time I just wrapped the bacon around the breast and let it cook in the oven. The second time was much better because the bacon didn't taste burnt

Cheesy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2008
My mom used to make this for me when I was a kid - now I make this for my boys. We love this and it's very easy to make. cover the food with foil while it's cooking - otherwise the bread crumbs tend to burn

Sloppy Joes II

This really is a five star "best" I've made this several times within the past couple of months - my wife says it's better than Manwich!

Awesome!! My wife is Costa Rican and loved the black beans. Very easy and quick to make - I've made this a couple of times this month and I'm sure I'll continue to do so

Ham with Pineapple

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2007
This was a big hit this year with my in-laws. I didn't have cherries, but no one missed them. The flavor of the ham was wonderful. I used orange soda instead of lemon-lime, it gave the ham a nice pineapple/orange flavor.

Kielbasa with Peppers and Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2007
This is a very quick, easy and delicious recipe. I added onion, seasoned salt, pepper and garlic to the mix - a must do in my mind - the potatos turned mushy, but we didn't care. This dish is surprisingly good and I'll make in again for sure!
