About this Cook
I had no idea to make mac-n-cheese until I got married 7yrs ago. Since then I realized I have a real knack for creating my own recipes & improving on those I have made in past. I love extremely SPICY foods and one day will enter a pepper eating contest! My husband and I have attended several hot sauce festivals and have yet to find one that blows my mind. I am a crisis counselor and am a first year graduate student. I love psychology and science and I feel I have a natural talent for cooking because recipes are essentually formulas! I have not opened my Betty Crocker cook book in a year-it is not stimulating enough for me and that is why I love All Recipes!
My favorite things to cook
VEGETARIAN FOOD, HOME MADE SALSA, TEX-MEX & AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD.
My cooking triumphs
PREPARING FROM SCRATCH A MEAL & APPETIZERS FOR 40+ PEOPLE & I NEVER BROKE A SWEAT!
My cooking tragedies
WHEN I WAS 16 I ATTEMPTED TO MAKE KRAFT MAC & CHEESE. DUNNO WHAT HAPPENED, IT TURNED OUT TO BE CHEESE SOUP WITH MACARONI! HOW FAR I HAVE COME!

Shrimp Dip II
SO good I could eat it all by myself! I followed the recipe exactly. Much better than some of the other seafood dips I have made from this site. I thought the red food coloring was strange, but it did make the dip visually appealing. Thanks for the recipe

Classic Crab and Shrimp Salad
This was good-but not amazing. It does taste very similar to the typical seafood salad you can buy at the meat counter of your local grocery store. If this is what you are looking for then this recipe is for you!

Three Chile Dry Roasted Tomatillo Salsa
Great recipe, real simple. The tomatillos took a little longer than I thought they would. It kept well in the fridge for 5 days. Thanks!
