Flourless Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
Easy and decadent dessert!! It is also has a very low sugar and glycemic index effect. My husband is diabetic and I substitute splenda for sugar and its a perfect treat. This is a great dessert that you can serve at a holiday event. My hubby and the guest can eat the same thing - which is always a big score for me.

Cake Mix Cookies IV

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
Five plus stars for overall "bang"! You can normally find cake mixes at the 99 cent store and sometimes Target has them on sale of 89 cents. My local grocery store has even had a coupon for less than that. Bottom line - for five minutes mixing time and about a buck you can have warm cookies from the oven. You can't top that!!! Do yourself a favor and stock up on cake mixes next time they are on sale. You will always have a cookie trick up your sleeve.

Uncle Jesse's French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2010
I love this version with just eggs! It was so easy and took only a few minutes to whip up for my toddler. Use a rich bread like Brioche or Challah for this version and you will look like a breakfast God in under 10 miutes!!

Caramels I

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2010
These are so awesome and so easy!!My first try they were a bit too hard to eat, so I just put them back in the sauce pan, mixed in a little more cream and they set up to the perfect texture. Now that is a forgiving recipe. The color is beautiful. The light gold hue did throw me off, since I thought the mixture needed to cook more. Go by your thermometer not your eye.

Coconut Macaroons

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
This is a super easy receipe and always turns out great. The one bad review from the "excellent baker" did not follow the directions and used evaperated milk not sweetened condensed. That's why she got a runny mess. Even a 8 year old could make these and everyone loves them. Take them to around Passover to your Jewish friends and or family.
