Pepperoni Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
YUM!!! These were sooo good! I reduced sugar to 1/2 cup and the dough was still nice and sweet. I didn't have pepperoni, but I had chorizo and salami. I also added cheese--cheddar with the chorizo and mozzarella with the salami. The dough was great to work with. I only wish I had made more! Thanks for the recipe!

Apple Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2008
So delicious!! Because I was short on white sugar, I used 1-1/4 cup white sugar and 3/4 cup brown sugar. I also left out the walnuts. I kept everything else the same and it was so yummy and moist. Thank you so much for this recipe!

Beef Stew II

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
I love this stew recipe! I add about a half-cup of red wine and about 2 teaspoons of organic beef stock powder for a little extra flavor. I don't have a crockpot, so I cook it on low on the stove and it still turns out tender and delicious.

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
This is delicious meatloaf! I pureed fresh pineapple instead of the preserves and I also used half of the amount of brown sugar called for. It turned out great and it was so easy!

Hummus III

Delicious! I use a lot of the juice from the garbanzo beans and I added 1/4 teaspoon of ground cumin. I make this recipe a lot and everyone loves it.

Quinoa Pilaf

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2007
I followed this recipe exactly except I doubled the amount of quinoa and water. It was delicious and had a nice, delicate flavor. I followed one reviewer's advice and dry-toasted the quinoa after I rinsed it. The end result was light and fluffy, and the veggies were perfectly cooked and not mushy. My 3-year-old and 18-month old loved it! Thank you!

Tia and David's Deep Fried Tortellini

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2007
I thought these were very good and they were actually quite fast and easy to make. I did use a bit more breadcrumbs (I made my own in a food processor) and I added a little grated parmesan. I also used basil and thyme instead of the parsley. I should have added a little more salt for some more flavor (I used about 1/4 teaspoon), but I will know for next time. I will definitely make these again! Thank you!

Blackberry Cobbler II

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
This was so delicious and so fun to make with blackberries we had picked! I cut the sugar down about a third and it was plenty sweet. I also do not have a cast iron skillet, so I just put it in a casserole dish to bake it. Served it with vanilla ice cream.

Chicken Tikka Masala

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
So yummy! I have to cut down on the spice a little bit because of my very young children with sensitive tongues. Also, to the sauce I add a handful of raisins, 2 tsp. garam masala and 2 tsp. sugar. I also took the advice of other reviewers and cut way down on the salt--1 tsp. for the yogurt mixture and 1/2 tsp. for the sauce. I serve this with Indian vegetable rice that I found on this website. My family absolutely loves this recipe. It has become a frequent meal in our list of dinners!!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2007
So delicious! I used dried oregano because I didn't have any marjoram. I also halved the cream cheese and it was plenty rich. I made a double recipe so we had leftovers the next day, and I was still wishing I had more!
