Sweet Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2012
This was awesome. I took it to a brunch where the hostess had pumpkin pancakes. It was a beautiful compliment. Can't wait for sweet potato season. It will be a perfect topping on those as well.

RedEye Bloody Mary

I've been looking for a recipe that uses tomato juice, but isn't boring....here it is! Fantastic, even without cilantro or the lime juice.

Summer Radish Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2012
My husband said "Radishes are a garnish, this should not be a recipe". I liked it okay, but it isn't a remake for me. If you LOVE radishes, go for it.

Zucchini Herb Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2012
Opps, I cooked a cup and a half of rice with this. Because I put in a can of diced tomatoes it turned out great still. Mushrooms were a nice addition too. We ate nearly the whole casserole, my husband and I and two toddlers.

Whole Wheat Pancakes

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2012
Pretty fluffy, but I like them a bit thinner. Did add one extra egg, as suggested and switched out white sugar for brown sugar.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

These were great. Didn't use Brandy, as I was cooking Halal, but they were still great with vanilla.

Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
Didn't have mushrooms or celery so I put in frozen carrots and green beans. My 3 year old son ate 4 bowls! Subbed bread crumbs for crushed crutons. Made the roux with the onions and garlic in it. Only baked 15 minutes so it didn't dry out. My kids requested this one to be repeated. Will do.

Razzy Blue Smoothie

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2012
This was very good. My husband said it could have been sweeter, so next time I will use soy milk. Loved the oats and almonds though, yum!

Teriyaki Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2012
Wow! Moist, tender, lots of flavor. I used a quarter breast and halved the marinade. Next time I'll use real garlic and ginger, but it was fantastic!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2012
Excellent pie! I changed two things- Added an extra TBSP of flour and put 1/2 tsp cream of tarter in with the meringue. Also, I added 1/2 tsp of yellow food coloring to the lemon curd to make it a prettier color.

Luscious Spinach Artichoke Dip

This was fast and easy. Bell peppers made it pretty. I added mozz cheese and pumped up the garlic to two cloves. Cut a whole in a bread bowl and it had a beautiful presentation.

I wish I could give this six stars. Only used one cup of sugar and sprite for the lemon-lime. Effortless and amazing. The guests had glass after glass.

Yum. I didn't put any green pepper or green onions in, but it was fabulous. I recommend using this as a filling for lettuce wraps!
