very easy and tastey ! have done this just as written several times. Have also used the same recipe, but substituted cream cheese with chives; and a third way is to use cream cheese with chives and golden mushroom soup. All three ways are YUUUMMMMY ! serve over angel hair pasta !

YUMMY ! Cut back on the sugar so - 3/4 brown, 1/2 white; added 1/2 tsp vanilla; used regular rolled oats -- and they came out GREAT ! hard to stop eating them !!!

Baked Corn Casserole

hard to rate something when you change it up - but it was the basis for my dish...used whole 8 oz block of cream cheese; used 2 cans mexicorn instead, half can cream corn - and left out the chilies; used crushed Ritz crackers instead of onions - so the kids would eat it; and added a good "shake" of crushed red pepper -- with these changes - it was very yummy !

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
my whole family LOVES this soup, esp. on a cold winters night. I use a Rotisserie chicken; 2 pkgs of the Uncle Bens Wild Rice - Ready Rice (microwavable pouches; Half & Half and just a half a stick of butter to reduce the fat ! Be sure not to skip the step of mixing the flour/butter to make the rouxe - takes FOREVER to thicken if you don't !

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2007
FABULOUS !! I loved this salsa...couldn't leave it alone ! I read others reviews and made a few adjustments - leaving out the dressing, replacing it with lemon juice; added minced garlic; and used can of Rotel instead of just plain tomatos. The biggest hit I think was serving it with Tostitos with a Hint of Lime !!!! YUMMY
