Six Flavor Glaze

I didn't have coconut extract but I used all the other flavors. I tried it while hot, right out of the pan and was hesitant on using it on my pumpkin bread. The flavors were very powerful. I'd made two loafs of bread and opted to add the glaze to only one, just in case I didn't like it. I was surprised. Once the bread absorbed the glaze, the flavors weren't as powering and was actually very good.

Quick Bread Mix

Very quick easy bread. One of the better tasting breads I made in a while. I threw in some left over ingredients (pumpkin, walnuts and cranberry) I had and it turned out wonderful.I also topped it off with the 6 flavor sugar glaze found on this site and my family loved it. The bread was good with or without the glaze. I doubt I'll use any other bread recipes again.

Pop's Dill Pickles

I found this recipe on another site a few weeks ago. It was my first try at making pickles. It was super easy. I just tried my first pickle a couple days ago and they were fantastic. I liked them so much, I made another 8 jars last night. The recipe I made also called for mustard and celery seed. Not sure what the taste difference is; but it does add a nice look to the pickles in the jar.

Hurricane Cake

I should state up front that I am not a chocolate lover, especially a chocolate cake lover. With that said, I was a little dissappointed in this cake. I found all the ingredients being things I love (aside from the chocolate cake). I just expected more I suppose. I served it warm and then went back later and tried a piece that was cool. It did taste better after cooling. My brother in law (whose not a cake eater either) said it was the best cake he'd ever had. So it's all in opinion.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

It good, would I say it's great no, but I would make it again. It's a good recipe for those that aren't crazy about fish becaues the sauce overpowers the fish taste. Personally I like fish but still enjoyed the sauce. I made it exactly as called for and don't understand the rantings of some of the other review of calories or butter flavor. It's not something I would make every week but I would definitely make again.

Deep Fried Oreos®

I probably shouldn't rate this as I only used pancake mix, oreos and oil. I simply made a think pancake mix, coated the oreos and fried them (in a pan with oil. It only takes a minute or so for each side. I had these at Mermaid Casino in Las Vegas and were hooked. So bad, yet so good.

White Chicken Enchilada Slow-Cooker Casserole

This recipes was ok. Nothing special. I made it exactly as the recipe called except for scaling down the ingreiants to make less servings. While the taste was good, it was somewhat bland. It's a good starter recipe. If I made it again, I would ad some taco seasoning to the chicken and maybe some diced tomatoes. Also I will agree with another review in that it honestly doesn't need the cheese. The soup/sour cream mixture was good. I honestly didn't even taste the cheese much, so I don't think I would have missed it.

Tortellini Soup I

I actually liked this dish very much. It was simple and tasty. The rest of my family did not. I did add some left over mushrooms and yellow squash that I had in the refrigerator and stiill thought it was delicious.

Cranberry Waldorf

I wasn't impressed with this recipe. It tasted more or less like a fruit salad to me. I've had a variation of the Waldof Salad made with mayo and although I was skeptical at first that version taste much better.

Easy Tortellini Bake

Love this. The receipe was easy and delicious. I did add some italian sausage to the recipe just because my husband is a meat eater and I didn't think he'd eat it without meat added. It was good and I'm sure it would have been just as good without the sausage. I have just recently begun trying new pasta recipes and was skeptical about the sauces combined together but it was great. I will definitely make this again.

Seafood Salad Supreme

Very recipe. I made it exactly except I only had a handful of almonds. I actually think next time I'd omit them comletely because I don't think they add anything to the dish. Other than that, it was perfect.

Layered Peppermint Bark

Pumpkin Crunch Cake

I was very impressed with this recipe. I made it exactly, except Iused fresh pumpkin from our garden that I had frozen instead of canned pumpkin. It turned out wonderful. I served it to family last night and everyone raved about it. I will say that I tried it not long after it came out of the oven while still warm and was skeptical. I tried it again the next day after cooling and it was much better cooled in my opinion.

Slow-Cooked Parmesan Chicken

First I must say that all I had ws instant rice, so I didn't put it in to cook all day. I added it for the last hour and well, that was way too long, I ended up with a stuffing type consistancy; but I still gve this four stars because the taste even like it was was great, I can only imagine how it will be when I make it again correctly. Every one still ate it and all said they liked it.

Slow Cooker Pizza

I really did not like this at all. Although I must add that my husband did. It tasted as if it was missing something. I should have added some spices per others reviews. Also, the noodles were way over cooked and mushy after a little less than 4 hours. This is more of an oven type recipe. I probably would not make it again.

Asparagus with Blue Cheese Sauce

I loved it. Very simple recipe with a great taste. I didn't have the blue cheese on hand so I substituted 2 tsp of blue cheese dressing and the taste to me was excellant. It's definitely something I will make again.
