Spicy Corn Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 8, 2010
This was yummy, but lacked that WOW! factor. I did add a can of rinsed and drained black beans. I also drained all the liquid from the corn, as stated by previous reviewers.

Pasta e Fagioli I

Reviewed: May 19, 2010
Really good. Next time I will use diced tomatoes instead of stewed. I added some browned hot italian sausage to make it a little more hearty for my husband.

Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Used hot italian sausage instead of the mild/pepper mix and subbed kale for the spinach. If you want praise for your cooking, make a batch of this and share! Im so glad I tried this recipe. I will most certainly make this again (and again and again...)

Sweet Corn Subji With Paneer and Cashew Nuts

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Couldnt find paneer, so I omitted that. Next time I will only use one chili. This was really good, even if it was a little hot!

Granny Smackers

Reviewed: May 11, 2010
Awesome. I ended up adding an additional beer to cut down on the "syrupiness" and because everyone was drinking it up so quickly. Have made this 3 times already. This will be my go to backyard BBQ drink! Thanks for sharing.

Garithes Yiouvetsi

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
I made a few substitutions based on what I had available...fire-roasted can tomatoes, sub fresh rosemary for the parsley and oregano, added Greeek Seasoning. Once the sauce was reduced to my liking I added the shrimp and cooked until pink, sprinkled feta overtop and broiled until the cheese was creamy. Yummy. Served with Rigatoni with Lemon Pasta Sauce (AR). We really enjoyed this.

Lemon Yogurt Pound Cake with Lemon Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
Awesome! The store was sold out of lemon yogurt, so I made sugar free lemon pudding and used that instead. Otherwise I followed the recipe to a T, with fantastic results. I will make this again!

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
YUM! These were great, only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I followed a few suggestions from previous reviews. I sliced half a red onion and covered the bottom of the baking dish and put chops on top. I basted the chops every 20 min, drizzling additional honey when I did so. I flipped the chops once, half way through. I had somewhat thin chops so it only took about 45-50 min. They turned out moist and delicious. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

Baked Lemon-Basil Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
My MIL requested "Italian" for her birthday dinner. I chose this...Perfect. Everyone enjoyed it, all having more than one helping. I used three chicken breasts and half a bag of baby spinach which I stirred into the sauce. I also used more cheese. I will definetly make this again. My MIL requested the recipe, which never happens! Outstanding.
