Broccoli Chicken Casserole IV

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
This was good. I had to use cream of cerlery soup because the kids don't like mushroom, but i think it would have been better with that. I used fresh brocoli so it wouldn't get to watery. served over rice.

Spinach-Cheese Swirls

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2011
My whole family liked these. I used cheddar cheese and left out the green onion (all I had). Make sure to roll it up tight and don't over stuff it with the spinach and they will hold together.

No Bake Cookies I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2011
I made these just now...and wow! They were really yummy and super easy. Just follow instructions. I did stir the whole time I was cooking them. I want to try them with Coconut milk and extract. I think they will taste like an Almond joy candy bar. Thanks for the new cookie reciepe and idea.

Red Lentil Curry

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2010
I'm enjoying my Red Lentil Curry as I right this! I am new at cookingthis type of food, so I was very pleased with the taste of this dish. I bought a Mild curry paste because i wanted to make sure i could add my own heat to it. I end up adding about 1 tsp of red chili pepper flakes to it. I like the heat! Be careful not to over cook your lentils. They cook really fast, not like split peas at all. I really over cooked mine, however, they still taste amazing. i can't wait to try it again, and cook the lentils right. I want to try the same thing to potatoes and chicken. You gotta give this one a try.

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2010
I had to give this 5 stars for the idea. I bake everything from scratch. I love Nestle Toll House chocolat chip cookie reciepe the best. If you like your cookies soft and fluffy, use real butter, baking powder not soda, and add an extra 1/4 cup of flour. They are the best. Then I added green food coloring, and left out the vanilla and added 2 tsp of mint extract in its place. They were fabulous. If you like your cookis more crunchy then use shortening and the baking soda, no extra flour.

Party Punch IX

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2010
my friend made this and i had to come on and save it to my box. This is a great punch. I would have gave it 5 stars but she decreased the sugar to 2 1/2 cups. And it was perfect like that. Used 2 strawberry and 1 rasberry jello....so good. I will be making this for Christmas this year.

Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage and Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This was amazing. My children loved it. I had to use regular italian sausage because thats all I could find, However, I know the chicken or turkey kind taste just as good to me. I left out the wine because my kids don't like that flavor in cooking. Wish I could have used it though. I did add a pinch of red pepper flakes, and used a can of diced tomatoes instead. This is a keeper though. next time I hope i can find the turkey italian sausage.

Scrumptious Beef and Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
This was not good. No one in my family would eat it. All the milk and sour cream curdled. It was runny. Not creamy at all. The flavor was very bland also. Not a keeper.

Spooky Witches' Fingers

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2010
I followed the recipe exactly...turned out great. Everyone loved them. I used sliced almonds, not whole, and red frosting (tastes better then the red gel). My 7 year old son would NOT eat them. He said they looked to real and gross!!! HAHAHA that was a big complement to me!!!
