I am a proud dog mom to 3 cuddley K-9's: Gizmo, Myron, & Ollie! I work as a Program Manager in a Residential Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program where we serve Military Service Members and Veterans. I have a wonderful husband who is my best friend and guinea pig for all of my recipes...although his preferred treats always include peanut butter!! I love to try new recipes and challenging recipes. I also like to try new twists on classic favorites. I also sometimes make special goodies for my fur-kids! I like to make it all from salads and appetizers to baking breads and desserts...and everything in between! My Mom learned some ethnic dishes from her Grandma and her Mother. I loved helping her prepare huge batches of haluski (cabbage and homemeade noodles) and halupki (stuffed cabbage). She would be in the kitchen for hours and even had my Dad helping to chop cabbage sometimes. Finding and making the "perfect" peanut butter cake icing for my hubby! Also hearing people make special requests for me to bring dishes to holiday dinners and parties! Cannot for the life of me make a decent chocolate chip cookie! I've used a million different recipes, different pans, bought all new dry ingredients..still they are not right. Good thing that Kelly is a fabulous chocolate chip cookie baker!
