Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Delicious!! I followed the advice of a couple reviewers: halved the recipe and used 2T butter and 1/4c applesauce in place of the butter. Also used 4 bananas and added a bit of nutmeg and ground ginger in addition to the cinnamon. This bread is amazing, i just froze some down so i don't eat it all tonight.

Rachel's Tomato Basil Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2011
This soup is amazing. I doubled the entire recipe but halved the amt of cream (half & half) and butter. As mentioned by other reviewers I added some garlic powder, garlic flakes, onion flakes, curry and brown sugar. I usually only eat tomato soup when i'm dipping a grilled cheese in it, but this soup can definitely stand on it's own. Delicious!

Taco Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Great casserole. I was a bit skeptical at first but this came together very nice. I took advice from a few reviewers and added a can of kidney beans and some cheese to the beef mixture. Also, sauteed a green pepper in addition to the onion with the beef. Also, added about a tsp of cumin and peprika to the beef mixture. Baked for about 30 minutes (covered in foil for majority of baking). Add crushed Tostitos Hint of lime and sour cream. Delicious!!

Vegan Lasagna I

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
Great recipe! This turned out delicious =) My friends and I are meat eaters but fasting (no meat or animal products) so i thought i'd give this recipe a try. I was skeptical at first since i've never heeard of a lasagna without cheese but this was amazing. As others reviewers suggested i squeezed 1/2 an orange into the tofu mixture, then mixed used one 14oz bag of frozen spinach (thawed) along with a zucchini (shredded) and chopped a red pepper which made for a very good & healthy meal! Thanks for the recipe, this one's a keeper even after the fast!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This recipe is AMAZING!!! I only made one modifications by adding 1/2 a packet of onion soup/dip mix. I made 3 large chicken breasts and cooked on low for 3 hours, shredded the chicken and returned to crockpot for an additional hour. Excellent!! Taste as good if not better than BBQ sandwiches i order from my fav restaurants. (used wishbone italian dressing and Famous Daves Rich & Sassy BBQ).

The batter is AMAZING!!!! I haven't even tasted this cake yet (it's still in the oven) but using the batter as an indicator i think it's going to be great. I used milk as other reviewers have suggested and added two heaping teaspoons of instant coffee. THanks for the recipe!!!!

Bar Cookies from Cake Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2008
This recipe is GREAT!!!! I just made these bars for the 2nd time. The first time i used yellow cake mix and only had a large symphony bar on hand so i chopped that up and added it to the mix. This time i used semi-sweet chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Also, i added 1/4 cup of water as suggested by others and two eggs. They come out extremely moist and delicious!!!!!!! Thanks for the recipe...

Hearty Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2007
I LOVED this tuna casserole!!! I'm not much of a peas fan so i was excited to find a recipe that didn't include them. Pretty much followed the recipe to the T, but spiced it up a little with some Mrs. Dash, Adobo and black pepper. Amazing meal!!
