Cream Cheese Tart Shells

I followed the recipe and added the fruit prior to baking and found that the crust stayed soggy. So I baked the shells without the filling for the 20 minutes, added the filling and baked an additional 3 minutes. The crust was crispier and did not have the under-cooked dough flavor as before. I would make this again.

Cream Puff Shells

Never having made cream puff shells before, I had no idea how much beating it would take to make the dough "thick and shiny and ... breaks from spoon". That takes nearly 15 minutes and next time I will use my stand mixer with the bread dough blade instead of doing it by hand. And the puff shells turned out great! I would make this again!

Peppy Provolone Slices

We loved this recipe! I did change it up by using turkey pepperoni (for 75% less fat) and hot banana peppers instead of the jalapenas and it still had a wonderful flavor and "kick". This is one of those appetizers that family will come to expect at parties.

Oh my, this was good. I had some leftover and did not want to pour it down the drain. So I got out my trusty freezer containers and froze it. Talk about a yummy icee.
