About this Cook
I'm an American advertising professional residing in the UK. It's my first time living abroad and I'm loving it! So many new experiences and British food is lovely (you just have to know what to buy/order).
My favorite things to cook
pasta, curries, mexican, casseroles and meatloaf (because it's easy).
My favorite family cooking traditions
pasta, pasta and more pasta because I was raised Italian-American.
My cooking triumphs
I've made some yummy stews and pizzas before.
My cooking tragedies
Royally messed up creamed spinach once with too much nutmeg!

Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
This was really good homemade mac and cheese. I omitted the parm cheese and baked it for 20 min. Very yummy. I do like the Dijon mustard but if you don't the base works without it and you can jazz it up with your own custom flavors (garlic, onion, etc.).

Jenny's Jambalaya
Very yummy! I didn't use onions because I'm the only one in my family who will eat them. I also used chicken sausage and added bacon (the meats I had around) but otherwise stayed true to the recipe. This dish was even better the second day!

Barbie's Tuna Salad
This is a great tuna salad recipe so flavorful, easy to make and low-fat if you use fat-free mayo.
