Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2013
Loved these muffins. I I didn't have buttermilk, and found I could use yogurt, so I used a cup of Greek yogurt instead of buttermilk. The muffins were delicious and I will make these again.

Streusel Topped Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2013
Didn't have any lemons, so I used a little bit of lemon juice. The muffins turned out great and will definitely make again. Might try the brown sugar in the topping next time.

Penne and Vodka Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2013
Flavor was good, though this dish could use more sauce . I will double the liquids next time, though I will make it again. The pancetta gives a nice flavor, not sure regular bacon would have been as good.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
I made this cake today, and it's very moist and is delicious. I did flour the blueberries as I read to try that in one of the reviews. I may try putting a lemon glaze on the cake next time, though it really doesn't need it. I also thought of maybe trying the same recipe with a lemon cake mix, since blueberries and lemon flavor go well together. Either way, I would definitely make this again. It was easy to make and a good way to use up the blueberries I had on hand.

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2011
I found the filling to be dry, and should have read the reviews before making these deviled eggs. I also had to double the dressing and mustard to make them creamy enough. I used celery salt and onion powder to doctor up the taste also.

Peanut Butter Easter Eggs

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2009
I changed the chocolate to milk chocolate that you buy in bulk for the purpose of melting. I added less than a tablespoon of shortening to the chocolate, melted it in the microwave and the results were fabulous!!! I will definitely make these again. I'm already thinking of the next holiday I can adapt these for.
