Chocolate Cupcakes

The batter might seem runny - but follow the directions! These are so light and fluffy, my new fave! PS - I used 1/2 cup of 5% cream and 1/2 cup 1% milk... just for a little creamier taste.

Banana Banana Bread

I hate banana bread but my family thinks this recipe is amazing:) I also used this recipe and made 18 banana muffins. They took about 16 minutes to cook and look pretty nice.

World's Greatest Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Dont listen to anything negative about this recipe, its fabulous! I like more chocolate chips than called for but these cookies are soft and chewy and stay that way... I've used these cookies for bribery to get my own way many times. Make sure you pull them out of the oven just BEFORE they look done and then them finish on the cookie sheet.

Yellow Cake Made from Scratch

It was a good recipe, and it tasted great, but it was a lot denser then I expected. I dont think I'll use it again, I need a recipe that yeilds a fluffier cake.

Easy Lemon Pie

This is not only incredibly easy, but you would NEVER guess it was only 3 ingredients. Gone are the days of cornstarch, lemon zest and a stick of butter. I love this recipe! 1 pc of advice - increase the lemon juice a little if you want a less sweet taste. I use the filling for lemon tarts now, the pastry to filling ratio just seems to work better :)

Skillet Custard with Berry Sauce

I made this with regular flour and instead of mixing milk with cream I just used half and half for the whole thing. It was very easy to make, really quick and had almost no clean up, thanks!! I also poured the whole thing into a greased, non stick pan and cooked it on medium heat until puffy. Then I sliced it into wedges. You can use any fruit topping you want on this :)

Love the cookie crust! I added about 1/4 lemon zest to the lemon mixture, but it would have been just as great without it. I'm just a lemon junkie :)

Micky's Sticky Licky Sweet n Zesty BBQ Sauce

This sauce is pretty good but I made a few changes. I used brown sugar instead of white, balsamic vinegar instead of white, and 1/2 tsp of celery seed (instead of celery pc's) and 1 tsp of onion powder instead of onion. It just made the sauce smoother. I also used 1/2 cup of ketchup and 1/2 cup of hp sauce. My husband loves it and I keep a jar in the fridge now :)

Seven-Minute Pudding

Fabulous. I NEVER make anything in the microwave but I like to try a recipe in its original form to begin with so I did. The results were perfect. I added 1.5 tablespoons of orange zest at the end with the vanilla and butter, and the second batch I did, I added 1/2 cup chocolate chips and whipped them until they were melted and fully blended. Both variations worked out very well :)

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn

What a great recipe! The caramel stayed chewy and gooey but firm enough that I could press it into a springform pan and set it as a birthday cake for my popcorn junky sister (click on my profile to see the pic). It was a huge hit :)

Orzo with Parmesan and Basil

An excellent side dish to roast chicken! I used the chicken drippings with the broth for an even richer flavor, and a bit of chopped, fried bacon. I went easy on the parmesan, I preferred it without.

Dark Chocolate Cake I

I do some cake decorating and this recipe rocks! I makes 3 8" cakes, bakes evenly, holds firm for stacking and its super tasty. Its my go-to chocolate cake now, thanks!

I love these, but I dont care for them much once they're 2 days old. I tried them in the fridge, or in an air tight container just on the counter and both times I thought they didnt age well. But in the first 24 hours, they're amazing!
